Thanks Jonny... since I joined PWJ, I have been able to learn to play as never before. Still on intermediate level, but really progressed since April. This nice tune in this not too difficult jazzy arrangement is sweet to add to the other holiday songs ... many thanks !!!

You are definitely having an effect on me Johnny. I looked at that sheet music and first thing I thought was, "SHELL CHORDS!!! I recognize those!!" And I only need 2 scales:)) (different video)

Thank you! Such a nice jazzy arrangement-especially for beginner-intermediate levels. 2 questions if I may… • do I have to buy a subscription to your membership to get the backing tracks for this arrangement? You didn’t mention that in the video. • Should you use both sharps and flats in the same score/sheet music? PS. It is very confusing to hear you say the “sharp” or “flat” when the opposite is being displayed on the piano diagram. I understand they are the same thing, but it really throws off your thinking when that happens.

Newbie question: Why are many of the notes listed as sharps in the music, but often referred to as flats when discussed or noted above the keys? I realize they are the same note, but it's a bit confusing to me. I'm curious if there's a reason for it.
@vodkagobalsky4 жыл бұрын
Notes are sharp or flat depending on what key you're playing in. They may be of the same tone but they are different notes because of the key the music is played.
