This is a great song. Hard to believe I was already 20 when this was released by America just before I joined the US Nuclear Submarine Force. This song never left my mind as it reminded me of a girl I had to leave to take the fight to the Soviet Union. Nicely Done Nate!

Thanks Nate! 'Your Song' and 'Sister Golden Hair' are some of my two most favorite songs! Also, the audio recording for your voice sounds a bit off, but I may just be tripping.

You're not tripping...I accidentally had the mic turned around on this one and it's pretty muffled. I tried my best to clean up the audio...not ideal but hopefully it's still ok to follow along with the tutorial.

It is helpful that you reviewed how to play those single notes near the end. As usual, very easy to follow!! I have seen a few people playing this song in subways.. great play though Nate!! 👍

Hi Lisa! Glad you like my song selection :) I think it's great to try a bunch and see what clicks and what doesn't, but I'd suggest deciding on no more than 2 at a time to really commit to working on. It takes a lot of repetition to get the muscle memory to really hang onto a song, but that process gets quicker over time. Cheers!

great tutorial! can you sometime do any blur tutorials? They mostly played guitar, but i believe with a little style change and your magical touch, they would be great for piano. There are a lot of "universal" tutorials, but none for singing version. I think Beetlebum and Coffee&TV got big potential too Also I would love some more Radiohead and Bowie tutorials ! Thank you for your work, it's truly inspiring, and I love every one of them !!🥰🌹

Yes, unfortunately there was an issue with my microphone on this one, I cleaned up the audio the best I could but its still not great. There was also an error with the link in the email before, but if you request it again, the new email will have a working link. Sorry about that!
