Piazza Navona absolutely beautiful. JUST take away most of the tourists ( How hard is it to dress comfortably, but nice) throngs and the tacky stalls in the middle of the square, and yes the the garbage and soda cans on the street.

I've been to a few, but not enough to say one is better than another. Part of the fun of being there just exploring and finding an interesting place to eat. I'm not a fancy eater either...usually I'll just get some carbonara, fries and a beer. :)

the fountains in piazza navona are boarded up as are other main sights Wanted to visit Rome next year but because of even more crowds with jubilee events, will wait until 2026
