Piazza Trucking's Goldhofer STZ-P 9 Trailer Being Retracted For Transport - Truckin' For Kids 2024

Here we have Piazza Trucking's John Dequattro with his new Peterbilt 367 and German Goldhofer STZ-P 9, 9-axle 36-tire trailer. John is seen retracting the trailer from its 90-foot maximum deck length to its minimum 54-foot deck length. Then, he is seen pinning 6 of the axles to raise them so that the empty trailer will travel on only the 3 rear axles. Notice as the trailer takes the turns how the wheel bogies steer opposite the turn to reduce trailer turning radius. Scotty, those trailers are a cross between a Spyder & a Centipede! Turn at any angle, and stretch, & snake over bumps / dips, without changing height, of the load! Outstanding! 🦿🦾👍👍👍🇺🇸
