As an Argentine I am greatly thankful to those who make this concert possible as well as the on responsible for posting; of course Piazzolla is a popular composer but this work shows the influence of Copland and Ginastera (another country man) Simply put, beautiful, haunting and very musically rich. Wunderschönes Stück, wunderbar musiziert. Orozco Estrada repeatedly ups the ante. The orchestra has developed excellent dynamics, excellent listening capacity and achieves an absolute flow. Plus it’s a joy to see Estrada conducting , so elegantly moving, so dancing the music in the best sense. I so wish for these great performers to be given the real and deserved applause from a Real crowd! During the Pandemie Orosco and his HR band have - for me - written music history with so many concerts of high quality and fresh interpretations like Bartoks demystified music for strings, celesta & percussion- they’re the new kid on the block!

Wunderschöne Aufführung dieser lateinamerikanischen und fein komponierten Variationen mit fließenden doch gut phrasierten Tönen aller Instrumente. Der südamerikanisch-österreichische Dirigent leitet das hoch funktionelle Orchester im gut analysierten Tempo und mit perfekt kontrollierter Dynamik. Alles ist erstklassig!
