@@juanpablososafrias3they changed the lore. While Stan may be “dead”, the Darkness can reconstruct the body of it’s hosts, reviving them and keeping them alive. An example of this can be seen with Butters in Infernal. Butters, although he got mauled by The South, he can be saved. And so, the same thing goes with Stan. The Darkness reconstructed and revived him, making him savable. If Stan gets saved, he’d just be heavily injured, but the wound in his chest could just be bandaged and healed. So yeah, there ya go

Stan isn't savable. He got stabbed by Craig in TDDUP, and was slowly dying in Lost Soul. The devs even confirmed that if you WERE to save him, he would die. Thus, you get nothing but his corpse that you'll have to carry.
