Surprised you didn't cook the vegetables in the steak juices. I usually put jerk seasoning in the juice & flash fry. Absolutely fantastic!

Ha ha, I am from São Paulo and I went to the original Picanha Burger once, when it was a novelty. Oh, my, it was so greasy. Not my cup of tea. 😬 I miss the joy over simple things we had over there, though. Everything is so expensive and complicated here in Europe. 🤪

I never saw anybody prepare a picanha steak this way. Dip frying an already greasy cut is a bit of a funny idea to me (no hate, please, enjoy your grease, it even rhimes). I Brazil we just grill it, using charcoal or an electric device, depending on what you have or want. Even air frying is good, provided you pre heat, please, so you can get a bit of maillard outside without overcooking your steak to a shoe sole state. 😬 Just so you know, Picanha is mostly "barbecue" meat down there. Maybe for grilling too. When you want the best of the best, if you're not barbecuing, you usually use filet mignon. It used to be so affordable back then. Nowadays it's more pricey but it's still much cheaper over there than here in Europe. I wonder how expensive is a Kg of filet mignon in the United States.
