"Pick of the Day" - 1959 Fender Stratocaster and Tone King Sky King

Today we carry on through Stratocaster land with a 1959 model, an incredible guitar! There have been a few changes made to this one over the years, which Trevor will detail before handing things off to Nick Mardon for a demo through the Tone King Sky King we used with the 1957 Stratocaster yesterday! Two different and awesome guitars, this one is sure to impress especially when it is in hand!

I've played this strat, and it is truly phenomenal. I've owned 7 Pre CBS strats and played dozens more and this is possibly the most "vibey" and playable of them all.

@@Utube-g3g I actually only ended up selling it because I had to put a down payment down for a house that I fell In love with. Otherwise I would still own this guitar!

I’m in the process of buying a 59 Strat right now so of course I am listening to 59 Strat’s on KZbin. This is by far my favorite Emerald City video. Now I have to hunt down one of these amplifiers.
