Today's pick of the day is a beautiful 1978 Martin D-18! We love these 70's Martins for a good number of reasons, and this one is a prime example of just why we love them so much! A boomy dreadnaught with a very focused sound, this guitar is in excellent shape with only light play wear and a few minor dings. It has had a neck reset and setup done by the Martin factory, and plays excellently. With 40 years of life this one has opened up wonderfully and sounds fantastic! We had our friend Taylor Nauta play some demo licks for us earlier in the week, and as you've probably seen recently, he's a great player!
These guitars don't stay on the wall for too long, as they're wonderful instruments at a great price. Unfortunately for any prospective buyers out there, this particular guitar sold over the weekend after we had finished putting this video together but it is such a great example that we still wanted to share the video with you all. Thankfully it sold to a great friend of ours and will be in a loving home for many years to come.
We're always on the lookout to get more of these in our shop, so we'll surely see some more in the near future!

Did someone once say 70s Martins were no good???. Well, I'd have that lovely D-18 in a heartbeat. Great-sounding guitar and some masterful playing there to showcase it so well.
