It's still not that much stronger because if you look at something like the Breakfast, that's a looot easier to get superimposition levels on. Meanwhile you need to wait 45 days between battle pass resets. So you might easily be looking at s5 vs s1. So now the damage buff starts at around the same level but Breakfast can stack from enemy deaths. Not even from the character's kills but any death.

It's pretty good, sure, but Jing Yuan will be coming in a few days and he'll be coming with the best Erudition Light Cone BY FAR for most characters. If your favorite character is Erudition I'd certainly wait to roll on it instead.

Even at 100 energy, you get 20% dmg bonus without having to grind 5 super imposes on the Breakfast one. Put this on someone with 110-120 energy and your at the same dmg % as a SUPER IMPOSE 5 breakfast cone. Want to take it one step further? Put it on Qing, who has 140 energy. The more you know.

A fully uncapped Erudition BP LC is underlooked since planning far ahead is usually neglected. As a Genshin player that is used to these BP decisions and knows Star Rail is going to be alive for more than 6 months.. I'd rather have the r5 Erudition LC in my toolbox. While the Harmony still has room to debate, and the others are just not good relatively.

Just as a reminder for the erudition part, you may indeed run into a spot where you need 2-3 erudition characters for forgotten hall, and well having 2 5 star cones is a tall order so even if you have one already, the erudition BP cone is prob still ur best bet at some point to grab if you buy multiple BP’s

You aren't going to be using multiple Erudition characters in Forgotten Hall. Not sure who fed you that. Single Target dps(hunt), healer, support, last slot is flex. You can add an Erudition for more AoE dmg, or Nhility for less AoE dmg but more debuffs. You could also do Destruction for a bruiser or Preservation for a tank.

Stupid late but after playing around a lot, I honestly feel that Carve the Moon is Ting's best light cone (go figure lol). On other harmony characters I'm also in the book to use stellar sea, dance, battle isn't over, etc., but considering Tingy snorts a line of coke before each fight, the sheer volume of buffs you get end up providing more utility than simple line cuts.

Just a reminder about Nhility light cones.. Good Night and Sleep Well is by FAR the best dmg light cone for your dmg AND dots. Eyes of the Prey is used if you need the effect hit. It provides dmg on DoTs, but Good Night does this AND increases your overall dmg. Welt's light cone is a mix between the two but doesnt provide any dmg bonus to DoTs. I assume it doesnt because its not stated in the description (like the 4*)

Hunt and Harmony cones will be borderline mandatory down the line i guess. absolutely gorgeous buffs from harmony(i'm guessing infinite uptime?) and Dispel on hit for challenge bosses, if they copy or get inspired by fgo shenanigans.

The Hunt seems like the best pick to me but I don't see Harmony being that broken at all, the buffs cannot happen simultaneously and cannot stack with multiple users of the light cone. All in all, it's not bad but not really as situationally broken as the hunt light cone choice or generally good like current options for harmony like dance dance dance.

The hunt has only 16% chance to proc AFTER Crit'ng..... That means, if you have less than 80% crit chance, it will have a chance to proc 4 times every 5 attacks AND out of those 5 times, it will have 16% chance to proc. It's not that good, unless you refine it to 5 and have 100% crit rate and it still have only 32% chance to dispel.

Important thing about "A Secret Vow" is that the second part is based on HP percentage so to get full benefit from that you pretty much need to run your destruction character with super low health at all times and then rely on shield to keep them alive.

Super one first. I am subbed to BP from the launch of game, and only got my Peaceful Day maxxed out last month. Peaceful Day is actually nuts for Erudition (especially there is no very good options apart from pulling Signatures.) Harmony's Carve the Moon is alright IF you lack the better Harmony LCs (DanceDanceDance, Bronya Sig, Planetary, Memories; even the 3star Meshing Cogs is very good.) Basically Harmony already has a lot of good cones and you will get them as you pull for characters. With the new permanent game mode focusing on AoE characters, you need at least 2 good Aoe chars+2 good Aoe LCs.

Love how people are so confident without proper knowledge: The harmony cone is too weak compared to other options. Tingyun on Dance!x3 is way stronger, the Battle isn't Over gives skill point income, Past and the Future is easily Sp5'ed. Hunt one is situational, but you have Pela for such dispels and there is no reason you would want to use this over the option made available from Sim World 5* which is easilu Sp5'ed Erudition is good because all the others is situational, that is pretty much it. Preservation wise unless you bring 2 preservation chars Day One is pretty much your default for now. Nihility is meeh in the long run. Abundance is pretty much the 2nd best option, if you played enough you will know well enough that Abundance characters are just there as skill point income and security, hence why doing basics is mostly what they do that is why the light cone allows them to basic more without using eating into the skill points (aka -2 skill point; 1 usage 1 generated) the 1st best option is situational if you build speed on your abundance characters which you should that supplement their skill point generation which is the easily Sp5'ed 3* Light cone Multiplication which Advances forward on basic attack. We don't talk about Destruction one because anyone in their sane mind knows that its the weakest of the bunch when you have a 3* which will literally provide more than double its value at Sp5.

About the guy in the Nihility light cone: This light most likely shows Screwllum and Silverwolf having a fight, although a friendly one. They had some kind of hacking rivalry in the past about who the best hacker to exist is (they seem to have lots of respect for each other though) Screwllum is a member of the genius society, like Herta and can also be seen in her room.

Personally I wish you had touched on different characters having different max energies. For example Make the World Clamor gives you 20 or so energy and Serval only needs 100 to use her ultimate, making that light cone better on her than say Qingque who needss 140. This also means that the Erudition Battlepass lightcone's dmg boost is larger on characters with more energy. Serval would get a 20% boost at superimposition 1 on the battlepass lightcone while qingque would get a 28% damage boost. At higher superimpositions, the difference would be greater. Though I could understand if you thought it wasn't important enough to mention as we cannot superimpose any of them at the moment. I think we should also definitely be paying attention to characters max energy when it comes to anything that restores flat energy as Make the World Clamor does.

The thing is, what he said still makes it better than Make the world Clamor because the BP's light cone has a constant damage bonus that does not depend on anything, you go into a fight with a 20% damage boost to everything you do with that character, that coupled with the higher base attack probably puts it ahead of Serval's own light cone.

I think the harmony bp light cone is heavily overrated for beginners. Our crit stats are shit to begin with so it's not like there's any use for the (tiny) crit dmg buff, and the 6% energy recharge is completely useless most of the time. There's a 3* harmony light cone (Chorus) which gives an unconditional, stronger attack buff than the S1 bp one, so the only reason to go for the 4* for now is its higher stats, which are, again, mostly useless on harmony characters.

15:40 i AGREE. the make the world clamor is pretty freaking mid and if not BAD.. like I REALIZED it when I swapped it for the 3* light cone lol. I might as well use that vs make the world clamor since it deals even more dmg. And the rate that Serval gains his ult from the turns you get from MTWC is virtually almost the same. That's why it's better to use light cones that buffs overall stat or damage instead of just 1 where you have to wait and have a lot of 0 buff downtime.

(In my opinion) this is the breakdown of lightcones for people who are still confused the Preservation lightcone is basically built for fire Trailblazer it synergies incredibly well with his kit and allows him to do a good chunk of damage while still being full def tank and considering how many people build fire trailblazer and actually use him it might be worth getting one copy of it for him The harmony and abundance ones are universal, slap it on any characracter and they will do their thing Destruction is a comfort lightcone, would suggest staying away from it unless you really know what you're doing or have a certain game plan in mind, there's already a bunch of really good destruction lightcones and with the game going forward there will be only more and more replacements Erudtion - I semi agree with the video and I think it's pretty good but other light cones are good enough, there is an upcoming character (that I shall not name cause it's leaks) that potentially could get really good use of it but again imo the other 4* options are good enough Hunt- Really solid , not much else to say about it, in some cases might end up being better than the free 5* light cone (Cruising in the Stellar Sea) against elites and bosses that can be debuffed or need to be debuffed but over all incredibly solid and a good pickup option Nihility - it's ok , that's all it is , just ok, it's flexible in a sense that you can slot it onto any nihility character and basically get extra damage but that's it TL: DR EDIT: Completely forgot ""Trend of the Universal Market"" Lightcone exists which is absolutely busted on MC so skip the Preservation one too unless you don't want to wait and gacha for universal market Harmony>Abundance>Hunt>Nihility>Erudition cause you will generally always have a harmony and/or abundance character in your team unless you use gepard but he can't utilize preservation lightcone fully Hunt is situational and over all solid even if you don't need to debuff an enemy but for content where you have to debuff an enemy or content where you need two teams it can come clutch again this is all MY OPINION so take it with a grain of salt cause I'm just an internet gremlin

I think the preservation lightcone in my opinion is the better option since it is the only preservation lightcone (as of right now) that its sole focus is dealing damage, other than being a defensive support. I guess down the line we are getting a dps preservation hybrid in the future.

@@CavasUmbra my problem with the preservation lightcone is that besides MC there cureently isn't a character that really benefits from it more than other lightcones, gepards ult literally doesn't do damage and march scalings are pretty low meanwhile MC in his eidolons and skills has def % scaling damage with good base damage

Bro why would you ever use Carve the Moon Weave the Clouds that gives 10%atk when theres literally a 3star light cone that gives 12%atk with no rng? Maybe the 12% crit dmg is minimally better for the 33% chance of getting it, but the energy regen is also gonna be useless. You're basically gonna be stuck picking up the harmony cone from battle pass for 5 months straight untill you actually replace the 3star one with it

First of all, base ATK of carve the moon. At Lv80 you get x1.5 more ATK, which makes the characters' buffs A LOT more effective. Both Tingyun's and Asta's buffs scale off of their ATK stats, so there's that. Then you also shouldn't dismiss the energy recharge buff as ineffective. ER in Star Rail is too valuable, especially if you can get it in the form of a buff. Carve the Moon gives much more value than Chorus. But then again, who said you can't run both at the same time? I use both Tingyun and Asta with Seele, one of them (*ahem ahem* Tingyun *ahem ahem*) is absolutely getting Carve the Moon.

Also a suggestion but you could call Qingque something like QQ just to make it easier. Heck it's what I've been calling her and I've heard her VA say her name numerous times to try and say it properly. Still failing and butchering her name.

The Abdundance light cone is ridiculous once you unlock the Abundance Aeon in simulated world. All those "when you heal an ally , add atk/def/spd/heal other allies" blessings? They all trigger off the passive mini heal.

What really? I initially turns away from this LC because of the low healing scaling (2% from 2-3k HP is only 40-60, like seriously). Didn't account of that abundance traits on SU at all. Did you already test it yourself? I'm still holding my LC choices from BP right now. Hoping to hear good words from you!

That's true. but you also get like mini heal from another blessing in simulation.. but in Forgotten halls it's useless af. Specially if you can just use HUNT and murder everyone else and other paths.

Very tempted to get the preservation cone and slowly max refine it for the big ultimate damage boost. Maybe it's smaller than I think it'll be? But it looks like a great way to flex Fire MC into doing bigger damage, for fights where that'll be useful, while the Herta's shop lightcone can be kept as the purely defensive choice. Smart choice is probably the erudition one though. Unconditional damage buff is just awesome. I don't currently use any erudition, but I'll probably grab Himeko at 300 standard pulls.

It's actually pretty decent .specially observed on units like Gepard and Fire MC. Gepard deals like 1-3K with his skill so it's definitely worth it.

2% of maxh hp of 3000 is only 60 per move its not much and doesnt contribute much at all that light cone is a trap and welt hits hard as a nihility i tried it

It's pretty damn solid healing once you max it out to superimposition 5, but before that it's just... Nah. :D It can give Natasha some better group healing capabilities, but it's not a lot unless you get multiple.

uhhh superimpose 5 just gives 120 per move with 3k hp the enemies by then hit harder and your heal wont do much at all. maybe in a situation where you dont get hit in about 10 round then maybe its good 10 round = 1200 heal without the help of healer or food

Erudition I'm using Geniuses' Repose Build Serval with 50% crit chance, and i'm doing insane amounts of crit damage. For me that one is the BEST of the 4*. Tested both at S1 the BP one and the gacha one... overall if you don't build serval with crit then BP one is better. BUT if you build it with crit rate and crit dmg, then Geniuses' Repose is 10 times. But we aware the only bad thing is when you don't have enemies around to kill, but don't worry... most of the bosses have a skill that spawn things each 2 or 3 turns.
