Another "special" synergy clara has with other characters is with tingyun. Tingyun's skill buff grants a buff to a characters base atk based on her own atk and also make the character do extra lightning damage when hitting enemies. This pairs extremely well with clara since her on top if providing a big atk buff, counters are considered bonus actions which don't drain tingyun buff's turn duration and also proccs the on hit lightning damage effect. Seeing how this effect and clara's counter has no trigger limit per turn, its very strong (also im pretty sure the effect can crit based on clara's crit stats). It also makes skill point management easier since you don't need to refresh clara's buff and also since tingyun has the second highest base speed in the game for some reason she can provide 100% uptime on her buff while providing a net gain on skill points. The only downside is the damage is considered lightning damage and it wont deplete enemy toughness.

Clara was why I started playing and I got her just a few days ago, she’s amazing! I run her with Natasha, Asta/Tingyun, and March 7th. It’s a very comfortable playstyle, even if I just look away I come back with the enemies dead! I love her I usually start like this: Clara Ult Tingyun Ult Tingyun E on Clara March 7th E on Clara (every other turn, or until shield is depleted) Natasha NA (until someone needs heals lol) everything just dies and i never have skill point management issues!

I’m not sure if anyone will see this comment, but the new 4 star Moze pairs really well with Clara as a sub DPS, with his skill making him un-targetable by enemies, it increases Clara’s chances of being hit significantly, while still providing utility in the form of bonus damage and follow up attacks

My first 5 star, she is great. I usually just stick her on a Team with March, Natasha + whoever breaks the enemy for maximum comfort (Asta, Seele, Serval) But yeah, I do feel bad whenever I make her run around in the overworld (accidentally) Also fun fact, if you put her on a Team with a Wind, Fire and Lightning character, you can break the weakness of every enemy currently in the game (not recommended though, imo)

I tried but I don't think it's quite smooth overall. Bronya skill will make Clara's ultimate turn reduced after taking action. Some more Clara skills don't have high scaling DMG. The only benefit is Bronya's ult which paired with Clara's ult- enhanced counter. I think Tingyun is a better option here.

@@rivaynx I hear you and that is a powerful combo but I will say for me it never becomes a problem, when Clara's ult is running and the field is set ( March shield + ult ) you'll get a turn to bronya her to the front without wasting a counter turn. Enemies always attack immediately after , each counter doesn't count as a turn so it never goes to waste. Repeat over and over. Wish I could show you

Clara is pretty decent with Mono Physical if you have Silver Wolf. Mono Physical team is SW herself, Clara, Sushang and Natasha. Sushang and Clara can do great damage and Natasha can help save your DPS characters from an inevitable death. So can manipulate and implant physical weakness and hope it’s not a quantum since SW is quantum herself

Since that gamemode has limited turns and basically a dps check. If you don't have bailu, you're forced to play Natasha and double physical on a team is not ideal for elemental coverage.

Clara is my MVP. If I don't know how a boss encounter will go during a story, SLOT CLARA. Like. I just came from finishing 2.1 and I built my team WRONG - GOD, that was absolutely moronic of me - in that I only had 2/4 as capable of breaking the toughness of the boss and my DPS breaker just died. But Huohuo is tough little healer, and we managed to outrun the Phase 2 assault by the boss while he just kept getting slapped by Svarog :D I think this was made before Lynx came out? Huohuo is my go-to healer, but I'll start experimenting slotting Lynixie with Clara. Belebog kids are so amazing :3 She works amazing with Aventurine, imo.

PS: Svarog counter attack is almost always on the elemental weakness of the enemy that helps a lot.

I recently started putting together a team of Clara, March, Natasha and Topaz. It's the ultimate counter team. When shielded by March, Clara will get an extremely high aggro value, plus when she gets hit it will proc both Svarog and March's counter. Now March will not necessarily do a ton of damage, but it adds up. Plus if it's the enemy marked by Topaz, then Numby will follow, too, as they will have gotten their action advanced by 100% with those two follow-ups, for a grand total of 3 attacks in response to a single enemy attack. And Natasha is an excellent single target healer for Clara with a sustained heal that lasts multiple turns.

Great guide! My problem with her right now is trying to get a good light cone on her, or at least a temporary one. No Secret Vow or Fall of Aeon (yet). I am pretty much just saving up for her light cone at this point and just using a 3 star light cone. It is too expensive to level anything else, since all of the destruction light cone doesn't seem very good (even Fall of Aeon).

If got no choice but to put a strong tank like gepard (no taunt light cone) along with the healer in order to survive, clara have to be in the middle so she could at least be hit by cleave attacks more often. Also, energy regen (maybe even speed) on clara in those cases to ult more for counters that doesnt care who gets hit is probably better as too much atk wont do much increase in dmg anyway.

I can see why CN rank Clara low right now, pretty much her few good supports have anti-synergies (March and Asta's ults for example) but as the roster deepens she could head back up the tier list.

Actually on the most recent tier list they've raised her quite a bit. The first lists were mostly based on funneling Selle for one team of 4. In that kind of team, Clara doesn't work. But she actually has great synergy with Yanqing and can function amazingly as a Tank+Damage dealer even in the current roster.

Clara is one of the best units in the game... Her and March and either Bailu or Natasha can 3 man tons of content... It's nuts. Anyone that has her at B-tier or C-tier is ignorant. She's nuts... my biggest hits so far are 50k total AOE, but my gear is mostly level 9 only and not optimal. She will be doing 100k hits after she is all built... Nutty damage and tanky at the same time.

I chose Clara as my guaranteed on the perm banner. I started with welt, Bailu, bronyas cone then bronya. I feel like I got pretty lucky but in the game Clara was just so wholesome so I chose her over E1 Bronya and don’t regret it. Now I sleep through Sim universe because she goes crazy. In regard to team comps, as someone who got Clara at the beginning of the game at launch to now I've noticed the following: 1. March 7th and Natasha = never die. The match 7th freezes are usually not a problem bc when you lvl up Clara and get her doing good dmg, the enemies will usually die before March gets to freeze OR the freeze just gives you a bit of breathing room in tougher match ups. Trading a bit of dmg for protection on Clara is OK - Where other squishier DPS characters might die or lose tons of DPS from having to attack instead of using their skills, Clara mainly relies on her counterattacks so this is less of an issue. 2. TIngyun feels like a must-have. The different in dmg between using Tingyun, Asta, or Pela is very noticeable especially since Tingyun ensures Clara always has her ult. 3. Pela is good when you need to slow down -In tougher matchups I might trade Tingyun for Pela mainly for the def debuff but it really just depends. 4. The following team has gotten me through all of Simulated Universe and Almost done with Forgotten Hall (just need to farm a few relics for two of my characters now) Clara Natasha Tingyun March The only characters that are max level, fully leveled traces, and OK relics (like barely ok not optimized at all) - are Clara and Natasha Tingyun is at lvl 50 with lvl 4 traces March is lvl 55 with lvl 6 traces (do to eidolons) The team works really well in that March can basically keep shields up for 3 characters at a time Clara does a ton of dmg thanks to Tingyun Tingyun is guard by Clara taking agro, Natasha heals, and March shields March and Natash are tanky enough to not die Natasha ult comes up on time when people get low Clara maintains her ult constantly thanks to Tingyun I can clear pretty much everything on auto. Oddly enough the only fight i have to do manually is World 5 bc Kafka can fuck me up if I Clara double ults (which does happen with this comp even outside of simulated universe) lol

I actually use preservation protagonist with Clara and I’ll explain why. I have protagonist on the far side and have Clara beside them, with Lynx beside her and Welt taking spot 4. In this I use Clara almost as an off-tank to take some heat while protagonist unleashes enhanced attacks. She also catches splash damage and counterattacks still if protagonist is targeted. My team comp probably sucks but that’s the strategy I came up with.

Seele while not optimal, has made the game feel pretty fresh and balanced with Clara. Seele often clears out mobs fast but for drawn out fights helps with decent chip alongside Clara. Her Nightshade trace is a little tough to manage, but in the right situation can help Clara keep aggro (or at least let your tankier supports eat some hits instead)

Lost my 50/50 for Jing Yuan to Yanqing, and then proceeded to draw a Clara with the warps his ascensions award. Let me tell you, it was a match made in heaven. Yanqing, Clara, March and Natasha go very well together.

On my first 10 packs in the game I got Clara's light cone. I was disappointed because I wanted a 5* character but still felt lucky. I got Welt from the pity reward from the starter pack and hes fun. I had 10 silver passes and 10 gold passes left. I hit the permanent banner and got Clara, very lucky as I already have her 5* light cone. I then hit the limited banner straight after and I got Jing Yuan. I now run Clara, Jing Yuan, Natasha and Welt and this game is pretty fun! I love my current team, but am tempted to trade Natasha for March depending on what super impositions/eidelons I get. Thanks fir the guides, they're great!

Clara + March + dps is nasty. I have Natasha for assurance and Kafka for extra damage as the main team. Between Kafka and Clara, they can shred enemies pretty comfortably.

It should be noted that damage % is more valuable than attack% from light cones due to diminishing returns from attack%. Mind you this doesn’t mean that light cones like fall of Aeon are bad just that if you have a attack% bonuses from relics and such light comes like secret vow are better.

I can’t wait to get Clara, I just started and I’m shooting for her the most because of how cool she is, and honestly the ult animation is more than enough to make her my fav, svarog just looks so cool. Edit: wait, wouldn’t Gerald actually be good since her one thing gives her a 50% chance to counter after an ally is hit? Just asking
