Everything is so beautiful Laura! My garden has suffered so many setbacks this season, so I’m praying for the cooler weather in Fall when I can replace the many plants I have lost. It was so beautiful this Spring, so I’m hopeful we can get there again. You keep me inspired, thank you my friend.

Pergola is a great idea. I like the contrast of the natural wood against the white and green. Looks rich. The phlox looks like coral creme drop. I have several and I just love them. Phlox Nicky is also gorgeous.

I loved the little tour of your wonderful garden. The slugs got to town on my dahlias (acutally all my plants). But the first ones started blooming anyway. I´m so happy! Have a nice weekend.

Thanks for the nice comments! So sorry about the slugs, but I’m happy they are blooming. It always feels good to see a plant flower after it’s been beaten up by a pest. 💜

I have had a tough year in the garden- specifically in my vegetable garden. It's pretty disappointing as like you, my happy place is my yard. This video helped me put things in perspective and really was a mood lifter. Thanks:)

I use the same copper plant labels in my garden. Being quite a bit older than you, I know that some day there will be a new family in our home. I want for them to be able to know the plants and bulb placement. Hopefully they will love gardening as much as I do. Meanwhile I am going to garden for as long as I can. - stress therapy. Your garden remains my dream garden. ❣

Laura, I so admired your agapanthus that I searched them out in my local nurseries and found one that ordered some in for me. They are my favorite flowers and definitely work horses. I live in Michigan, so I'm not sure they would winter over, so planning to store them.

Your garden has really changed so much since I started watching your videos. Always such a fun process to see. It really looks so lovely! Your paver pathway looks like it was always meant to be there. Looks great and would feel good in bare feet!! Looking forward to seeing your Floret zinnias. I planted Victorian Wedding, it’s covered in buds and my first bloom has started to open today. Enjoy your garden!!

Hi Laura!! Okay can I just come hang out in your garden?! What a beautiful space it has grown and changed to be…I have been watching since day 1 on KZbin and I have seen it all evolve…I’m sorry I don’t always comment but I’m here watching and rewatching too…Just beautiful and elegant…I so don’t have the same type of climate but I love watching your videos to learn and have fun…I found the trellis on Home Depot as you said and ordered one, thank you again 💚.

Gorgeous! Your and your husband ‘s work paid off big time!🥰🌸🇨🇦I love your humour, especially when a plant doesn’t work out. We sometimes get so serious about it that takes the joy out of gardening! I was wondering why my dahlias are taking so long. Thanks for sharing your experience. (Zone 5)

Thanks so much!! I got that from Plow & Hearth a few years ago. It was called the “pot trellis” I don’t think they carry it still. I’ve been searching high and low for another one. If I find one, I’ll share on here!!

Beautiful! Could I know the reason why you have a little pot on your garden stake?
@HowsItGrowingАй бұрын
Thank you! Just decoration for me. Several years ago I saw it on Gardeners World and copied the style. Monty Don used it to hold up bird netting. It can be used on shorter stakes so you don’t poke your eye while gardening. And some use it to catch earwigs. You’d fill with shredded paper or straw, they crawl inside and you dispose of them.
@eileenchang2173Ай бұрын
@@HowsItGrowingI need to the earwigs that are eating my dahlia leaves. I will give that method a try. 🥰🌸🇨🇦

What is the vine growing on the grid on the white fence?
@HowsItGrowingАй бұрын
That’s a native honeysuckle, major wheeler. It would bloom more if not for the canopy of tree above. But I love the look of the vines too.
