(picking 35) GeGe euro cylinder picked and gutted (sent by slim_pickins - thank you)

That's the second lock from a package that Bryan (slim_pickins) sent me.
Quite a challenge to pick with that narrow and angled keyway. All driver pins are serrated. Great lock to play with - tight tolerances.

Gotta love GEGEs! :D Coincidentally, I picked a similar looking GEGE just yesterday evening and gutted it (off-camera) - it contained the exact same pins (standard key pins, equal-length serrated drivers with 2 serrations each). The one that I picked was considerably shorter though, with not enough space for a sixth chamber.

My pleasure Michael. Well done!! Typical serrated GeGe pins. If you pick these the right way up you'll get plenty of keyway space instead of it being very restricted.

slim_pickins Thank you. I also tried it the other way round. But with the bible upward it was just more comfortable to pick. Indeed, I sometimes discover that orientation really matters. It's a change of the angle the lock is clamped up or the change from top or bottom tensioning that can make a difference in access to the pins. Will experiment a little.
