A short video of our trip to kodaikanal, India where we went trekking deep into the forest to vattakanal to pick up psychedelic magic mushrooms from the wild. This is the only place in India where this mushroom grows and it takes you on a magical journey to wonderland!

Hey guys, some people are saying the mushroom was fake. For legal reasons, yes, those mushrooms are fake and there is no evidence of us plucking psilocybin in the forest which any law enforcement can use and implicate through this video. wink wink . And also, we were with an experienced guide , i don't recommend anybody trying this on their own, the path is risky and one can end up hurting themselves if they dont know what they are doing. Hi! Just one tip for anyone else who's a first timer and wants to go mushroom hunting in Kodaikanal. Make sure you take someone who knows what they really look like. Some of the mushrooms may look like psilocybin mushrooms but may actually be something else that's poisonous, sometimes even lethal. Be careful!

Take one wrong mushroom and you will be shitting out your intestines and your melted liver within 8 hours of consuming the poisonous shroom. If you don't get the best medical attention, you are a lost cause. Which is why amateurs should not be too confident with their finds. No amount of research is as good as seeing it for yourself. But one wrong move, and you'll see the entire process of your life leaving you each passing hour.

Break the body of the mushroom and see if it bruises or turns blueish violet color, if it does then that's the one. Also make sure you're not color blind 😉
