Omg, Risa, been watching you forever but for some reason, I never thought my absolute MUST HAVE lip product would be shown here. I absolutely love City Lips gloss. I keep it on my nightstand. If I fall asleep forgetting to place it in it's spot, my husband knows what I'm doing if I turn my lamp on. Since beginning to use it, I NEVER get chapped lips. It's just so good. I'm down to one so the discount has me ecstatic! Also, I recently shaved my widows peak. I remember you mentioning that you used to shave yours. My hair is not much darker than yours but the follicles look like some skin issue. Did you have to cover yours? I have tried... It's not going well. Maybe I shouldn't have done it. Anyhow, love the channel. I just turned forty and I love your channel because it created a bridge to mature make up content.❤️

REVLON COLOURSTAY Overtime are amazing as a base for red lips. First I apply the Revlon (in a true red colour) and after I apply my Chanel red lipstick. You lipline will stay crisp and clean (i am 51). I have also used the shade “Unlimited Mulberry” for about 17 years. One coat in the morning and that’s it. I never used the gloss that comes with it, as I prefer a mat lip. Thank you for great content as usual! 💋

I love the formulas you chose, although I would probably choose more medium-depth shades. Have you checked out the Besame Cosmetics lipsticks, Risa? Gabriela has beautiful reds in a wide range; and you can use the flat top edge of the lipstick bullet as a lip liner. They are very long lasting, especially if you follow the application method recommended by Gabriela. I have probably 15 of her lipsticks, at least. lol

Went straight to your channel for inspiration finding a good lip combo. You are so, so talented and I am grateful that you share that with the world. Also, I have oily lids as well. (and desert-dry undereyes). My eyelids also have quite a bit of red and blue discoloration all the way to the brow. Maestro Vanngo answered my question in his comments on how to conquer them, by telling me to use the Nars tinted eyeshadow primer. They were all sold out everywhere, so I tried the Eye Prime from Dominique Cosmetics. Great priming properties AND yellow/peach in tone. Cancels out all redness/bluish tint on my eyes and keeps the oily lids in check all day. It’s like $13 or $14. Pick it up if you can, I think you would enjoy it as well. Thanks, Vanessa

:) always loved your combos; I have MAC Soar (bought on several recommendations) but what would you pair it with? We have similar complexions and age by the way :)) oh and that CT Lipstick in Dance Floor Princess is my absolute favorite, the only one close to an old YSL Rouge Volupte (discontinued of course) that was my "signature" lip color. The Chanel ones I have 2 and they never fail me, although I have them in pink nude (of course) and a dark plum.

I also take a foundation, mascara, and small shadow palette (usually choose Tillbury Easy Nudes), and very basic skincare.
