Excellent buys JC. The 1/4 truck would be very cool with a little diesel. That 3 cyl you have, or a refer engine. The truck is cuter than a bugs ear !!! The bed Justin wants is a touch sparse on crossmembers, but looks like the decking is substantial. Box on the blue truck is a nice one! Those closed center, load sense hydraulic pumps are large! They don't take a lack of oil well. The price you pay is no ones business. Except for the detail lady. Same with sale price.

Putting that 10ft bed on the sleeper international and spending it for a hot shot would sell pretty fast I think. It's a market/driving sector that is taking of like crazy. I recently started prepping to leave the moving company and go OTR. Bought a 2001 9900i. Single owner. Has an N14 red top Cummins, 435 HP with an Rato Fuller 13spd. Jakes, 240" Wheel Base. 3.73 ratio. 22.5 on aluminum Buds. Air sld 5th. 300gal aluminum tanks. 50"flat top sleeper. Full frame sand blast and frame and body repaint 3yrs ago. He only runs summer time since then. Has 1.36million on the clock. But was FULL (paper proving) in frame at 1.05 million miles. So it has just over 350 000 on the rebuild. Doesn't leak, burn oil. No blow by. Took it to 2 separate shops (local international AND Peterbilt shops before I bought it. Only needed air ride leveler and rear rubber. I know it's not 100% ideal for otr van trailers. But the original owner (67urs old) had us move him to their newly built retirement home, and was retiring. Sold me the truck for $36,500. Was asking $40 000. But knew I was interested. Offered 10k deposit to secure time to set up my finances/financing. As I have a wife and 2 kids under 10. And I've been less than half my hours At the moving company I manage as COVID is destroying moving and delivery work round here. So I didn't have to start without a running capital after buying the Truck. I'm gonna lease onto a company for now. But will be getting my authority after 2yrs experience to get my insurance down when I do have my authority. It's different how they insure up here in Ontario. Anyway. I watched your videos and wanna thank you for all the little tips I've learnt to look at/for to know if it's decent enough truck. I think I got a GREAT started truck at a great price.

Most the mini trucks I've seen use upgraded atv wheels/tires. My guess is the bolt pattern would be 4x110 and if you go that route I would suggest 12 inch wheels because the tire options are way better.

I paused here at 10:00, is that a plow blade cylinder for raising the blade?? , I was thinking or surmising as to would it work for the popular wood splitter? Its small so wouldn't be so dang heavy like some splitters get to be. I don't know what its like in the states continental anymore as its thirty plus years later but with so many different tire sizes, there just seems to be a tire made just for everything made that rolls on rubber. I liked those nineteen fives on the swamp buggies up here made from any year and old junk attached to it. Over the years I am just not surprised anymore

There are so many things you point out in the truck that makes it not worth buying then you show one reason to buy it that wipes out all the negatives. The components are more valuable than the truck as a whole

it doesnt work for everyone but it does for me. picking up a parts truck here and there at a reasonable cost can drastically change the overall cost of many truck build projects. when i am done with a parts truck there usually isnt enough scrap" or unusable parts left over to fill a pick up truck bed
