Hello I'm doing a vv neck with a 2x2 rib does the anything change in the bottom central v neck stitch? Do I have to pick up extra stitches? Apart from having stitches divisible by 4?

If you're working the center stitch as the decrease stitch, I would recommend having that stitch bordered on each side by two purl stitches for the first round to establish the ribbing with symmetry around the center stitch. Then, decrease as necessary. This would mean that your stitch count is a multiple of 4 with an extra 3 (4 for the 2x2 rib, 1 extra for the center stitch, and 2 for the purls on the left of the center stitch). I hope that helps and makes sense. Happy knitting!

Do I start with 2 pearl stitches on each side of the centre knit stitch ? ,thanks@ShainaBilow

@@BessieBrikas Yes - before you work the first round, count backwards from the center stitch to determine how to start the ribbing so you have 2 purl stitches just before the center. Happy knitting!

I used to be scared of the v-ncek, but it's my first time truly understanding how it's made. It's actually not that bad. My only problem is that I don't usually knit in the round.

I'm so glad the video made v-necks feel approachable for you! It is possible to NOT work the edge in the round. You could pick up the stitches and work back and forth instead.
