Picking up another Citroën SM

Amazing find! The parts on that car alone are worth a bunch. My dad has spent about 3 years restoring his 1972 SM. Parts and especially engines are extremely difficult to work on he says, and immensely expensive! And I can see that the blue one you bought has the upgraded "US" AC compressor which ours also has, since it used to drive round California since it was new. The car is now in Norway and will soon be back in running order with a totally refurbished engine. Interior, bodywork and paint.

The blue one looks like it might be the same colour as my French spec '73 one, which is Bleu de Bregancon. Good luck with the resto, LG.

what do you do with all these cars? do you restore them and sell them? or do you restore them and like keep them in your collection?
