Yaay! The day has arrived when I am finally picking up my cavoodle puppy AKA quite possibly the smallest puppy in the world? (To clarify: In Australia we call them Cavoodles, but America calls them Cavapoos). Come along with me and my baby toy cavapoo puppy ‘Cali’, as I share bringing puppy home, puppys first day, as well as my first week with puppy + training with help from Zak George and Rachel Fusaro. Training my new puppy included teaching puppy to sit, puppy potty training, fixing separation anxiety, socializing a puppy, teaching puppy how to sit, stop puppy crying, stop puppy biting and many more!

Loved your video and Callie is so sweet. Thank you for sharing with us. I pick up my Havenese/Bichon in six days and I am so excited. I got to meet her for the first time today. She is just 7 weeks old and she is definitely a biter too. I am grateful for all the KZbin videos on training. I am hoping we will be able to break that habit fairly quickly. She is very sweet and we can't wait to bring her home.

7 weeks is a little too young to take away a puppy from it’s mother and litter mates. 8 weeks is the general recommended age when good breeders let their puppies leave. You might think 1 week makes no difference- remember 1 year for a dog = 7 human years.

Chloe Tan, Olive was 8 weeks old when we got her. She was 7 weeks and a few days when I wrote this, but I was picking her up in 6 days. She was just over 8 weeks when we got her and adjusted very well.

That’s great! It came across very differently and I have known of many people who pick up their pups when they are too young ; hence the concern. Glad to hear she’s well adjusted. All the best.

Alot of people don't understand how much work, training and patient a puppy is. But it is differently work it, but it is alot of hard work, especially if you live by yourself and you are the only thing the puppy has to interact with. It can be done through, good luck, and she is a precious Lil girl

I’m getting a cavoodle as well. My mum said it would be good for me because I suffer with anxiety and she said that it would be a therapeutic dog. And 13 so it will be great. I’m calling it Ollie and I getting it at 12 weeks old
