Picking up my Rolex Datejust 41 w/ Blue Dial

I just got offered this model after less than 2 months on the waiting list for another watch. Apparently someone else backed out of buying it so they offered it to me. They said its quite unusual for them to offer it to a first time buyer before contacting people on the waitlist for it so the person ive been talking to at the boutique must have pushed for me to get it or something. Going tomorrow to see it and I cant wait. My friend is a bit mad though because he's been on the waiting list for it longer than me xD

That's actually a good idea traveling a little bit out of your way to NH for the no sales tax. Might have to take a trip to Long's to see what they have in stock.

Bought the same model last week! Smooth bezel, jubilee and blue dial. Lovely combo! I love it! What do you think of the size? It’s more like a 39/40?

I think it’s pretty close to the 41, maybe a little under. I think it visually looks a little smaller with the smooth bezel and jubilee bracelet because it’s so stream lined looking. Overall amazing watch and will be very hard to come by in the future with the blue sunburst dial. Enjoy it.

@@EricIsMagic Both are great watches! Enjoy them! Would love to see more Rolex vids from you, as you give great detail. But overall, the DJ is a great first choice Rolex imo, as it’s “classic Rolex.” Also not sure if you’ve tried on the sports watches, but they seem to not only be bulkier, but heavier too. This is overlooked by many, which is why even though the DJ may be on the “dressier” side, it’s comfort actually makes it more “casual.” Not sure if that makes sense haha
