Thanks Gregory. Yea, it's now gotten to brutal on the temp meter. You know. I always found thought, that further down the chain, we got a breeze. But again, that was all the way down to the little 3X5 mile rock, Key West. Boca Chica was always breezy though.

Hey Mike - first time commenting - but been watching for a number of months. Very much appreciated this tour. I heard whisperings of HillCo extractors on StreamTeam's some time ago. I've been vacillating on buying an extractor (or borrowing the local hand crank one). My 3rd season now - and I have about 6 deeps of honey to extract. (My local expert advised me to only use deeps so I can interchange at will. Not sure my shoulder agrees). So I called John with a few questions and thanks to your insights and introduction I have just purchased the UltraMax 18 Frame Extractor earlier today!

Congrats on the purchase! I really like John’s business....well, and John too. But what I like is that he gives us that ‘in between’ choice on price without losing out on quality. Used to be if you jumped from a plastic two frame extractor to a 20 frame extractor, it would go from $200 to close to $2000!! While he’s not right in the middle, he’s close. We save $500 to $700 depending which you compare to. I have mine setup and it’s a beautiful unit, and I will be doing an unboxing video release soon, and hopefully this weekend I will be extracting and will be doing a product review. I had good success with his boxes and frames so far. His solid bottom boards are also very nice. Got 6 of those and they are reversable....3/8" and 3/4".

Something to remember, John can help on price if you order a pallet of boxes, There's 175 deeps to the pallet. I started beekeeping last April and it has turned into a job, I'm up around 120 plus colonies.

Mike, I agree. Hillco is a great company. Puts Mann Lake to shame for quality product and service. I bought their 800E extractor at Hive Alive in TN for a great price and hope to use it soon. Their wood products are very good also.

Yea, Mann Lake and Dadant are too comfortable, so the service has been awful the past few times I've dealt with them. They have had issues on every order I've mad in the last two years.

We start right there at Humbird Cheese and then on to Nelson for lunch and ice cream, then to Ellsworth of course for fresh curds and then wherever. We love it up there

I am enjoying my 880E extractor, and I am impressed with the hive bodies as well. Got a youth bee suit for the grandkids and sent John a picture of granddaughter #1 holding a handful of bees, and he's put it up on facebook. My only minor issue was a crack in one of the lids on the extractor, I sent John a picture and asked if I could purchase a replacement, and he sent one out at no charge. Working on a new shed to store equipment and get some moved out of my shop so I can order bodies in pallet quantities. After assembling other bodies from another source, Hillco has my business! Fit was absolutely perfect as others have stated.

Mike, I agree John has great customer service and good products. I made my first purchase from him in March or April of 2021. I’ve made several this year. I love his Hive boxes! When I assemble them the joints fit like they should without gaps or cracks and go together with square conners and you rarely find a knot larger than a dime. He only has one grade so you don’t have to pay more for the best! I’m so glad you showed the operation at HillCo!

I didn’t see it in the website the older models, if it’s supposed to be a great product I’m curious to know why it would be disconnected along with the other E models. Even the older model I can’t really find anybody doing a good full reviews on or any reviews on google when I search it, I would of thought there would be many reviews on the older model on KZbin and on google if it’s a great product. With the newer model also I can’t really find any reviews on KZbin or when I google it besides the owner talking about it how great it is, but I want to hear reviews of actually people using it. It’s kind of strange that there’s really no reviews on new models too only a few comments on Facebook. Also if the product is so good why the warranty is much less between the new 6 and 9 frames? I’m just kind of not sure of this product since the new model is so brand new and it’s odd that there’s no reviews on the product page ether.

Hillco has been great working with this year! After meeting them and receiving my free hive tool at Hive Life, I am sold on them. I have ordered frames, hive bodies and have great plans for more purchases. Their quality is wonderful and price is very reasonable. Tim, I agree n the great products. I've gotten woodenware and other items and all great stuff. I used to live in Brighton, TN and used to pass just south of you in the mid 2000's. My son used to race at a small SX track in Latham, TN, neat Union City. Closest I've been except on my MN trips. I split off in Sikeston these days and go up I-57 all the way up into WI and then US53 on up into MN.
