Pickle Gulch with members of Frontrange4x4.com. It's a moderate, fun offroad trail near Blackhawk, CO that is suitable for stock 4x4s with good drivers. There are fun obstacles, cabin ruins, old mine sites and a lot of great dispersed camping.

You should have kept going all the way to the top at Kingston Peak, above St. Marys Glacier. The trail are more challenging going up there. Great views. Sign the log at the Rock House

OK I'm going to say it.... That Toyota was pretty impressive on the hill! I have done that on a dirt bike and it's not easy!

Are lockers needed? Just got my first 4x4 and want to take my daughter up there! I’m just rocking an XJ with 31” boggers and a 2” lift but not lockers or a winch yet.. Sweet video! 🤘🏻😷👍🏻

No, you should be fine. There are bypasses to most things, but you probably won't need them, XJs are so capable, even stock. A few years ago we went through with a stock F-150 on street tires, with some rock stacking he had no issues. Have fun!!

I have an Jeep Cherokee xj with open diff's and almost anywhere I have taken my Jeep off road I haven't needed a locker. I always hear people say you have got to have locker's but for me I think that's only if you are into some kind of extrem off roading like rock crawling or in deep sand. The kind of trails these guys are running in this video are easy enough to do in a all stock XJ.

No , you can easily do this in a stock suv of pretty much any kind. Hell, I’ve watched a Subaru Outback work up it slow. No problems
