Jeff’s blue late 70s Chevy is gorgeous! (Sounds like a turbo LS under the hood) But I think the most impressive was the white Duramax! For being so much heavier than the black Silverado SS he was able to hang with him! The 4wd/Awd launch of those two kept everyone else in the dust too Look forward to more of these! Maybe we will even see more modified Ford and Dodge trucks so it’s not just the modified GM trucks winning all the time

Yeah, but the Duramax makes up for weight with torque. He's probably putting down two or three times the torque to the wheels than the SS.

racequad9 yeah I think in a short sprint the white Duramax would squeak out a win, but both are really fast out of the hole for sure Both are not stock but the Duramax seems like it’s only modifications are in power and not handling, and those were never made to handle an oval race track in the first place, where as the SS was a sport truck from the factory, and has a lot of mods to it. (As we have seen in the past this SS is one of the fastest trucks to complete here, and has even challenged some of the best cars here too) And yet there he was hanging with that highly modified SS Silverado in that big white beast of burden! The way he controlled all of that extra weight of that Duramax was great! That’s an at least 7500 pound 3/4 ton 4x4 diesel truck, and the dude was keeping up in the corners with the much lighter modified AWD SS Silverado! And at one point was even drifting the big boy at pretty good speed around turn 3-4 before it got the better of him. Impressive is one hell of an understatement! I really hope we get to see him come back and play some more! A little more practice on this track and I bet he will pull off a win!
