Whenever I meet a vegan or someone that is just starting out being vegan, I ALWAYS recommend your website for recipes. They are so flavorful and delicious and feel so filling and fresh at the same time. I think a lot of people feel that being vegan tends to be bland and I've found that both vegans and nonvegans have raved about the meals when I've made them. Seriously love everything you make! Went back and tried to comment on all of my favorites :)

I bought a plastic cold brew coffee press like a, french press, at Walmart. I put 1 cup of coffee in it and fill it with cold water and put it in the fridge. It's summer now so in the a.m. I pour it out just black while getting ready for work. Sometimes I add condensed milk with it.

Here’s a Hack for whisking the Dalgona Coffee by Hand: put the ingredients in a smaller, higher Container like a Glass. Omg the last oneeee !!!! 🌈❤Fun fact: The Delgona coffee , that is such a huge trend, was actually made daily in comunist Romania. You could not find natural coffee in the 80's ,they just had Amigo , granulated coffee. And even that was a treat. So they would wisk sigar with the coffee and there you go: Dalgona coffee. So, nothing new :)) Later edit : I had to buy a french press just so I could try the cold brew !

hey I just wanted to say, dalkona (달고나) is a traditional Korean toffee made with sugar and baking soda, and dalkom/dalkomhan copi (달콤한 커피) is what it means sweet (달콤한) coffee (커피) :D both delicious and perfect for summer tho!
@14boilingwater3 жыл бұрын
I usually go for a traditional regular hot espresso coffee in the morning, however over summer time I do also enjoy cold coffee! I use a special ground coffee (with Moka machine always!) that is suitable for cold coffee..once the coffee is made I add water, and then I put it in the ice cube tray and I let it freeze…4/5 cubes (depend how big they are) + plant based milk…so nothing of so special, but it lasts longer than an espresso and it just tastes of Summer! Your recipes look amazing as always!

Maybe it's because the coffee grounds are steeped in water for a long period of time. That's what I used to think when I switched over to cold brew. You'll get used to it, though.
@naomilichtner35973 жыл бұрын
Because of the longer steeping time and the higher coffee to water ratio, more caffeine is extracted from cold brew than traditional coffee. That may be why!

A note for cold brew - you can add a little boiling water to bloom the grounds before adding the cold water - it still has that lovely cold brew flavour (i steep mine in the fridge for 24 hours!) but the initial bloom brings out more of the coffee's flavour profile which I find makes it a much more well-rounded flavour!
