Please don't stress about the lost blooms - greenhouses force blooms to entice you to buy the plants (smart!) but it's actually good practice to prune the blooms when you put them in the ground or a pot. The blooms take up all the energy, and if you carefully prune them at the Y, all that energy will go down into the roots and help the plant get established.

I have an "insect (and arachnid, hehe) relocation device" in my kitchen, it's a simple glass container and a piece of sturdy paper. You simply cover the insect with the glass container and slide the paper under the opening, and safely move it out. So easy for no-touch operation, will not hurt the insect, and the insect won't bite you, in case they do bite... Learned it in a vipassana course, they always have it in common areas as part of the non-violence approach to all the living beings 🐝

a few tips for gardening. When you grow seedlings indoors, make sure to harden them before you plant them in the garden. This means taking it out for one hour the first day in the shade or at the end of the day when the sun is lower in the sky. take it out for two hours the next day and so on. Planting after it rained when it is overcast is perfect to transplant I find preferebly at the end of the day while the sun is again lower in the sky. You may already know this, but I found this was probably the hardest lesson I learned as I planted things at the wrong time of day and scorched my plants at first.

You two are so perfect for each other! I love how you tried to make your meals for the day realistic instead of curating your day by making everything from scratch. I think so many people try to show off to the camera and end up setting an unprecedented unattainable ideal (whether they meant to or not) for someone with your every day 9-5, leading to them thinking they are lazy, unworthy, or incapable when they may just have a different schedule or ray of skill sets. The girl afraid of the jumping spider wants to garden! Lol! Okay, okay, but in defense of the little one: I once was painting the trim around the rooftop of a house and one joined me for the afternoon:). She followed behind me, but kept pace…waiting, never getting into the wet paint, and coming around the house with me. A couple times, we greeted by letting her jump onto my finger and bringing her up close, and then let her back down to the rooftop, where in we continued our ‘work’:). She was lovely! And so delightful! You really should take a minute to get to know them…those jumping spiders are so sweet and adorable! Been watching you for a while now…beautiful videos:) Thanks for the sharing and inspiration:)

I’m blessed to do what I do, and am so happy and proud of your hard work. Seeing your home brings tears to my eyes as remember the small apartment you first had in the Netherlands. I’m excited to continue to try more recipes on PUL. Can’t wait for the App reveal! Wish you all the best with Robin!

The “hi, everybody” on the spider was adorable!! But Sadia, insects are animals, too 😉 so are we.

I love that you included the reality of your week and how to bulk out something you may already have in the freezer :) makes me feel better about those days I don't have energy/time to cook ☺ How about a video on healthy sides to go with grab and go dinners? Might be a useful building block for other recipes 👀 excited for the app!!!
