When you boil pasta you should highly Salt the water in order to infuse the pasta with flavor. Once you drain the pasta, if you rinse with water, you wash away ALL that delicious flavor!! You should reserve a cup or two of the salted pasta water, drain the pasta, then toss it with some of the reserved water in order to loosen it. Or just toss your warm past with your sauce. If you toss your pasta with oil, your sauce slides right off of the pasta!! So reserved pasta water is the way to go!

You should have used the oil from the sun dried tomatoes in your pasta! I've heard rinsing it is not good because the sauce will not stick to it.

Hi Sadia! I'm Italian and I saw you prepered pasta and Pesto. Kinda different from how we prepare it here. The only advice I'd give you is to mix all together, I mean, pasta and condiment. The way we prepare it is much simpler!! We just put pasta in boiling water until it is al dente and then we mix it with the pesto. As simple as that ahah, but I'm sure I would love the one you prepared as well. Love your life style. You're such an inspiration. Congratulation! Listening to you is also a good way to improve my English😂

This city is gorgeous! Every time y0ou post a video, I am filled with an overwhelming wave of happiness. On the topic of olive oil vs. cold water, olive oil works BUT prevents the sauce from sticking. Coldwater works as well but doesn't prevent the cohesion of the sauce and is what I would recommend if you are not saucing your pasta only with olive oil.
