I put shield and a boost orb on Zeus and he can survive all retaliate, and even some atacks so that he can get the second boost. And when he gets the second boost he's like having atack orbs so there's a win win situation, he gets more health and atack. I recommend this strategy but Picky's one is good too.

I got lucky getting Zeus, I only started mgg last month saved up 12 reactor tokens and got 4 different mutants in the reactor so decided to just buy the 5th mutant with gold, it was also 30% off so basically bought Zeus for 1600 gold, I didn't even know he was good at the time, just wanted him because he looked really cool, but now I use him for every battle!
