Thank you for recommending this climb (earlier in the year on UKC Forum). We didn't make it right to the top as the weather came in, but a cracking route and well worth the trip. Just a note that there is now a bus that goes to and from the car park and there's a barrier on the road that leads up.

Happy you went for it! The route and surroundings are great. I actually want to go back at some point and try to do it in less than 18hrs😂 Thanks for the info!

Nice video Cristea! Loved the commentary along the way :)! like a challenging hike! If you were walking the route again would you take a rope? And, would staying in the Refugio have taken off a good chunk of the 18 hours you spent on trail? Best wishes, Will

Thanks mate! If I'd go in the same conditions I wouldn't rope up. I feel it would help being roped up there if you have a bad fear of heights. Some bits are super exposed but fine in good conditions and with a cool head. It would of probably saved us 4-5 hours staying at the Refugio and another 2 if we actually parked the car at the carpark next to the waterfall 😂 Thanks for the comment!

@@TraintoSummit sweet - thanks for the advice. Added this to my hiking wish list today after watching the video. I think the GR11 runs close by so might give me inspiration to just keep walking! Keep up the videos mate 👍
