We use the Pico Scope at the Community College where I teach. I had trouble using it, as there has been no formal training for it offered. I especially liked the spectrum analyzer demonstration.

Thanks for sharing this! I think that is amazing! I'm going to publish a video for the first time user and how to bring it up and use the functions. Is there anything that I could do to help you and/or your students? Which scopes do you use?

An 40 min video about the buttons on an oscilloscope is great, but it would be nice to have an video about practical use measuring stuff with the oscilloscope,

Thanks! I've done other videos showing this in use, but I plan to do more - and I think I'll do one for the person just starting out.

wow most interesting PicoScope. I use an old 3224 PicoScope for things like looking at serial communications. Test equipment just keeps getting better. 😎 Thank you.

Thank you! That's a great scope and it should work with this new software. Have you tried it?
@qzorn4440 Жыл бұрын
@@KissAnalog Yes, about a year ago I downloaded some software to troubleshoot Modbus and it worked OK. I have not used it since then. Thank you.

Dark mode is, in my opinion, way superior. Any progress on the VU-meters?
@KissAnalog Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, I'll finish this up and get the VU meters installed.

I see that Picoscope still has not implemented trigger holdoff feature, which is really strange for such polished HW and SW combo.
@KissAnalog Жыл бұрын
Thanks for bringing this up. I'll do a full review of this scope and show how to use the holdoff. It actually works great;) This scope is amazing and the software works with the lower cost scopes as well making them all very powerful!

Did you not see my comment before, I said what about putting a valve buffer stage discreet with a discreet op-amp in the class d amplifier, the vtv make a good valve buffer stage op-amp What's causing the amplitude in the waveform? I can't see the distortion you're talking about.. I don't know if it's the recording software it's not showing it, it looks the same both sides

That sounds interesting - maybe I will do that;)

Too bad that Owon, Hantek and other cheap brands can't create even half decent software for their scopes. Dark looks better.
@KissAnalog Жыл бұрын
If Owon could do the software - they would have something hard to compete with for a bench top oscilloscope. Thanks for your vote.
