Thank you for the videos featuring scopes under $400/500 - 8-bit vs-12bit-(tempted). They've been incredibly helpful, especially since I'm on a very limited budget. I've been watching and finally got the Siglent SDS1202XE on sale well under $300. The Siglent was my first choice but sort-of out of reach. I went with Siglent since it seemed to be favorable for entry-level-professional and has good following and support from what I could see. In addition, I used AI to help in my decision for my needs. The scope might be overkill as I'm planning on 50s'-2000s' audio/video gear and AM/FM-RF alignments for repair, maintenance and such. But I think 200Mhz scope will be perfect for those RF-alignments. I still have my 70s' Sencore Minuteman 10 MHz oscilloscope used for A/V repairs back in 90s'. What a difference, this ought to be fun! (p.s. Glad I could get it now as I am concerned about proposed tariffs that may be coming soon.) ...Keep up the good work!

Great demonstration! One thing for sure is you could spend at least three to four hours going through all the features of this new Rigol. Last year, I almost bought a Siglent largely because of your videos. However, literally within a few days of making a purchase, Rigol released these new 12-bit devices and I caught an AliExpress sale. For me, it was time to upgrade from my old Tek analog scope. It is unfortunate you have to send yours back so soon when there are so many more things myself and many others would like to see. I would, however, like to thank you for spending the time that you have with this demonstration!
@KissAnalog
@KissAnalog 20 сағат бұрын
Thanks so much! I was able to make 3 videos, and the first 2 were pretty long - but are getting a high view count. I don't know if Rigol realizes how much work it is to do these videos. Other companies let me keep the equipment in return for doing the video and giving them some essentially free marketing to a targeted audience. Well, it was good to get a few videos out of it. Now I have to go out in a snow storm and return it.

Great video, I love this family of Rigol oscilloscopes but I prefer their brother in 900s family. For learning all the quirks in oscilloscope usage I would recommend the Batronix MSO Demo Board. Despite it's very expensive it will make you very proficient in the usage of your oscilloscope and will teach you how to get the most of it.

What is the measurement that correlates to imaging or depth?
@KissAnalog
@KissAnalog Күн бұрын
I'd say that a low noise floor and low impedance would allow the lowest and fastest of signals to transfer without changing them. These cables show that would be the case. Imaging and depth are just made up terms in attempt to describe great S/N ration.

If we take away the lack of sense from Fluke, the name and the yellow case should cost 200 dollars, but they do not seem to have realized that they are no longer the only ones that manufacture good measuring equipment, despite this they continue with their exorbitant prices under every point of view, and and with an unintelligent policy on their part, in addition to the fact that they continue to sell at a price of gold already aged products in which in so many years they have not made a single improvement or innovation. fluke 87v a multimeter with 6000 counts for the price of a bank one example siglent sdm 3055 incomprehensible

The 100khz acv are already equaled and even surpassed in the new brymen 789 otherwise Fluke lives off the old fame and there are indeed multimeters for less that give more whether you want to see it or not what happens is that some people have a yellow shell It gives them a lot of cache but it is easy to spray yellow paint and paint over the blue background of the brymen. Otherwise right now the brymen 789 far surpasses the two flukes in this one review for less than half the money, in Europe right now 200 euros. Fluke cannot compete with this even in its dreams, I have already bought the 789 and frankly I don't think I will miss anything that Fluke can offer me for more than double
