"wearable computers" part - we watched in the office. it was lol, like good comedy movie. Instead of thinking about developing new tech, people thought, how to attach all the existing devices to the clothes. Good that they used CD-ROM and not Vinyl.

@@durrcodurr Also, around about 2000 I had an Ipaq 5550 which was effectively a smartphone without the phone. Biometric fingerprint access ✅ News apps ✅ GPS ✅ (GPS sleeve accessory) Full length movies on SD card ✅ Games (Doom, Tomb Raider etc) ✅ So society had thought of that long before I was using it. I used it, because I knew it was futuristic due to seeing the tech in media. I knew it’s what phones would become. Others didn’t understand what it was, nor would they believe me. “I won’t watch a movie on something that fits in my palm.” “Im not reading news on something that small.” “I’m not taking directions from a talking machine!” Oh yeah?

Per the last segment's interview forecasts. Time has shown that under the persisting situation, enabling people to be more human turns out to be incompatible with 21st Century market economy elite driven political criteria... And of course, what happened to the national influence of organized labor? What orchestrative money-property elite political block subsequently dominates unfettered? Oh yes... Sleep.

So many keyboards. Futurists did not see much future in voice recog as at the time it seemed almost impossible. That was the case right up until a few years ago. Even today Assistant and Siri will fail, but the day will come, and soon, when AI's are better at understanding spoken language better then we do.
