Both The Incredible Machine and Tamagotchi brought this song to me. I heard it in The Incredible Machine aaages ago, when I was like seven, and it was simply called "Pictures". @ericisbeastin If you're talking about the trumpet player on the left, it appears to me that he is playing a different kind of trumpet than the others in his section. Therefore, he probably has a different part. The others are playing C trumpets and he is playing a smaller (higher) one, possibly to hit the high muted parts in "Samuel Goldenberg Und Schmuyle", later in the piece. The C trumpets are evident by the fingering that they are using, and the slightly smaller length than Bb trumpets.

What does that even mean? I got here by spontaneously searching 'pictures at an exhibition promenade' and clicking the first link... why are people always being brought to youtube videos by other people and then telling yet more poeple about how they were brought there by the other person as if they can't bring themself to a youtbe video? Search for your own youtube videos my god....
@LeviathanLP4 жыл бұрын
@@docdaneeka3424 Late late late reply, but it's because there is such a sheer volume of content in this world that in order to find something like this, you need to be told that it exists. Nobody comes out of the womb knowing the name Modest Mussorgsky, or, for that matter, much of anything beyond how to find a nipple to suck on. You did not, as you claim, "spontaneously" search for the specific title of this piece. First of all, as a student of psychology, I reject the idea that any behavior is purely spontaneous. Secondly and moreover, the reason you searched for this video is that you knew enough about the piece that you wanted to listen to a performance of it, possibly out of boredom or the need for a brief diversion. I'm here because I'm studying for an exam on classical music. But the point is, both of us searched for this piece because we already knew it exists. SOME people were told by music teachers, SOME were told by parents that love classical music, SOME very very few people came across it on their own while searching other more popular classical works. And SOME people first heard this tune in a mashup album created by de facto internet king Neil Cicierega. In fact, I heard his version of it years ago and only just now realized that the classic movement I recently learned about was the same tune. What does it matter how we got here?
