Ahmed photographs’ were included in the exhibitions “Reporting a Revolution… Continued” (Copenhagen and Berlin, 2012),”Stories of Change “(The Netherlands & Tunisia 2014-2015) and “Young Men” (Copenhagen and Cairo, 2010-2011).
His awards include First Prize, Photo Story, Egypt Press Photo Awards 2011, and Gold, Domestic Picture Story, College Photographer of the Year 2011.His work included mix between news photography and art where he consider himself more of a documentary journalist which means telling stories and taking time to take the best shot.
Lately, Ahmed is more interested on portrait street photography as he believes that Portraits can say a lot about the person in the photograph and it’s a big challenge to show what's inside people through one photograph.
Ahmed is the creator and photographer of the "Egyptians" project on Facebook.
Ahmed Hayman is an award winning photographer. He graduated in 2008 from Misr University for Science & Technology, Mass Communication with specialization in broadcasting. He started his career as a photojournalist at Akhbar El Hawadeth Weekly and Al Masry Al Youm. He held various exhibitions among which are an exhibition about Gaza (2010) and an exhibition about people living on the street (2007) at Al Sawy Cultural Wheel.
