Thanks for the explanation! Quick suggestion, the movement of the screen is really jerky and a little hard to follow and nauseating. Not sure if future videos can be done with a motionless screen or at least less movement. 🤙🏼

3:03 ah here is the thing if you know you can run low latency mode and be on a comfortable 90 fps DO LOW LATENCY MODE its fuckin great if you have H.264 codec you can have 85 biterate and still be on 33ms latency (for me atleast)

Anyone know why my game runs fine at 120fps low latency, network, encoding and so on. And randomly game lags HARD for few seconds with network and encoding going upto like 40, then back to normal. Cant find a fix anywhere, its not my wifi as got speeds of 500mb/s download and 70mb/s upload and only me on it. CPU and GPU dont go higher than 80% usage

Wireless is 5 Gigahertz band, not 5 Gigabytes. that doesn't make sense. Also, you really DO need your router connected with an ethernet cable (Gigabit) for best results.

I saw that the 1200 mbps did not drop, it was maintained, I have an asus rog strix GS-AX5400 router and I have not been able to maintain 1200 mbps,The mbps drop to 200,500,800 and they are not stable, I have my router as an AP, both the PC and the router are connected with a cat 8 cable. Ur quest only has so much resolution (i think 1080p but i could be wrong) so using the "optimal resolution" button on VD will lower the resolution of the monitors to match the quests. Having a 4k monitor is only great for desktop games and won't use the full resolution for VR.

Hey, I have a RTX 3050 and have very similar settings to you but I have my bitrate all the way up because I'm on Wifi6 and ethernet. My problem isn't performance, but I'm wondering if you know any settings to help fix noticeable compression even on max bitrate, I know you can't get rid of it but I actually prefer standalone graphics just because of the amount of compression I see. what is your download and upload speed? and what framerate do you have set? highest bitrate doesn't necessarily mean best quality. if you set a bitrate higher than what you can handle then it will introduce artifacts

Dude just liked your comment, and didn't even bother to respond lol You're stuck at 20 probably because you have "Auto adjust bitrate" enabled in your Virtual Desktop Streamer (PC software). You should probably move closer to the router if VD thinks you can only do 20Mbps, though, their estimation isn't always accurate.
