I use the Wolf river off the pier 3 ft drop 3 ft leader #6 hook put a small hunk of my coffee cup on and a dead alewife so it floats did very well with that

Unfortunately I just bought them at a random bait store. A lot of bait stores near the piers will sell em tho. If not I have some made from pvc pipe that work great

Pier is the South Pier in South Haven, Michigan not Grand Haven. Grand Haven is about 50 miles North of this one.

Steelhead can be caught off the piers most months. Summer run starts around July cohos go all spring!
