Thank you Mr. Brown … I was in Mississippi state penitentiary for two years … it was the darkest time of my life .. A old man recommended the red rising series to me .. I read through the five books 4 times .. You will never understand the amount of strength an purpose your books instilled in my life during that hard time.. now that I am free I’ve jus finished Lightbringer, and again all I can say is thank you Mr. Brown… Per aspera ad Astra

I would love to see more content like this and I'm eagerly waiting the next interview! That being said, it's so awesome to see you being interviewed on other channels as well. Your storytelling is deep and engaging and I can't wait to see what else you do!

The series was already on my TBR, but I love hearing that he thinks it's important to be sincere. I think one of the toughest parts of writing is knowing whether or not the emotion you're feeling while writing is relayed to the reader. I'm glad that he's still feeling that and needs it present in order to write, that makes me even more eager to jump into his books. Great interview!

One thing I particularly love about the series is the sophistication and philosophical style of Brown’s writing which is unmatched in the genre. As a huge fan (and classical archaeologist 😅) it made me so happy when they talked about the classical influences. He doesn’t only copy lore and myths but uses the material to create and fuel his own ideas and this is very rare in recent publishing.

Pretty high up, because it is very fast paced easy to read and has great characters, it keeps expanding and ask very good fundamental questions which challenges the way you think about important concepts. although consider that this is my all time favorite book series so I’m biased
