*Note* Since people keep asking about why Energy Drain over Spirit Drain, the answer is simple: it's more efficient. Spirit Drain's power coefficient is 20 higher than Energy Drain, but I value the healing and damage output component of Energy Drain more than the extra ~10 MP Spirit Drain provides. This is especially true given that Energy Drain is more than sufficient to maintain your MP most situations; so outside of extreme cases, the extra MP that Spirit Drain provides isn't actually netting you anything. You're of course free to use Spirit Drain instead, but I will continue to use Energy Drain over it in all situations.

Also, Sakuya is a Kunistu, meaning that the Belzebub passive still procs in her presence, which is something minor she has over Idunn

Ironically I was able to recreate Rozalin's Idun Build just with essences. All I need left is an essence that could give me the great mana spring and I'll be ready to go with her. By the way, do you know where I could get any demon essences with Great Mana Spring in it's repertoire? I fused a Horus in the hopes that I could eventually a Horus Essence, but I'm not sure if leveling up a demon can even give you those essences. Any advice?

I think you can get the essence just by levelling up until it gets the last move, if it doesn’t give you the essence, restart before level in up the demon. I don’t remember quite well where I found that info, but I hope it works for you. If not, eventually you will find someone with the movement in the essence.

@@NaclesYT I ended up getting a Titania essence after realizing that I didn't get one from Horus because I didn't save scum properly with Horus. But I did with Titania so now I'm good on that front.

2:58 slight correction, someone please let me know if I’m wrong. I believe what the trait means is when Sakuya’s stats are raised, it doubles hp regen of that skill for all party members, regardless of if other members’ stats are raised or not. Other than that, def a very solid early game build.

What i like about the build videos for this game is if you dont wont to do the fusions to get the moves you can still get all the moves you wont from the essences unless doing the fusions increase the stats more

Hi everyone, I need some help. I defeated Ouyamatsumi before redeeming the DLC for Konohana Sakuya, and now I can't trigger her quest. I've checked my quest log and visited her location, but nothing happens. Unfortunately, I don't have a save where Ouyamatsumi is still alive, and I haven't reached the throne room yet. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a solution? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Doesn’t a High Heal Pleroma help with heals and (in theory) also with MP restore?

Depends. If you are getting enough HP from your heals without it, or are needing to heal sooner than when High Heal Pleroma's increase would be beneficial (i.e. using the heal to reapply buffs) then using High Heal Pleroma is a wasted skill. In most cases, you are more likely to use Sakuya's heal before party HP would drop enough such that you couldn't fully heal without the Pleroma, therefore it's unnecessary.

Way too MP intensive with no way to restore MP outside of using items. By dropping Debilitate and having someone like Cleopatra or Beelzebub handle that, you can then also drop both Boon Boosts for more defenses/utility options.

It is possible on CoV, but it's much harder since you need to maintain a neutral stance throughout the playthrough, unlike in CoC where you can just choose neutral at the end.

They would help out whenever you can't trigger her innate skill, but only for the HP healing portion, and it wouldn't be near as much as her innate boosts her healing. For me, any encounter in which I can't reliably keep up her innate, I just swap her out to Demeter (technically Demeter is my main healer).

Maybe a little late but you can unlock Ishtar (alongside Surt, Chernobog and Arioch) on CoV by completing the "Armies of Chaos" virtual trainer battles. Also important to note special fusions only show up in the menu if you have at least one of the demons required for them registered, many people seem to forget that.

I'm always curious why you never show the strongest versions of these builds. For example using Resist Elec and not something like Drain Elec, or Boon Boost EX instead of just boon boost.

(1) because I prefer to show the earliest possible version for builds. (2) the strongest versions are just built off of the lower level versions in many cases; so essence fusion is the way to go. (3) with this build in particular, you wouldn't use Boon Boost EX anyways since the normal version is dropped from the end game one.

Because the two extra slots necessary to Null everything isn't worth giving up Enduring Soul and Great Mana Spring. Early on Great Mana Spring is huge for MP and later it is swapped for Great Life Spring on Godborn; Enduring Soul is necessary for end-game content where enemies frequently use Pierce or Almighty attacks. Simply put, it's better to not Null everything in most situations if it takes up too many skill slots to do so.

Buy the dlc, then go in the tokyo diet building. You'll get a quest for her there. She'll ask you to kill her dad, then you'll fight her, and she'll auto join you.

I think Boon Boost is wasted late game since you will almost always need to heal before the buff is close to dropping. I also personally wouldn't run a healer w/o a way to restore MP.
