"I wrote that song for a friend of mine. She would tell me stories about how her parents neglected her as a kid. My parents were so awesome growing up, I can't imagine what that would have been like. When she was little, she would climb into her neighbor's trees just to see if her parents would notice that she was gone. It really messed her up growing up and still kind of affects her now in her 20s. I wrote "Hold On Till May" to see if she could get any kind of closure on that part of her life. My favorite part of this video is 4:00 as Vic sings "Darling you'll be okay" and Jaime sings it too. Tony's smile, Vic's passion when he sings, Jaimes dimples and the way you can see he's not lying when he says that you'll be okay, and mike looking like a kid in Christmas with his drums. Nick Carlos u think this song means different things to different people.Vic said this song is about a friend he had who felt like her parents didn't care about her so she would hide in a tree to see if her parents would look for her and she'd stay there for hours.They didn't look.To me it's about how we go to dark places but at the end of it all we'll be okay and we hold on no matter what and I think that's what Vic is trying to say.
