I went and saw Pierce the Veil in concert in myrtle beach November 15th of this year. When I got home, I found my brother dead on the bathroom floor from an overdose. I remember making him listen to this song 10 years ago, when I was 18, to let him know his addiction was hurting me. I wanted him to feel like it’s not uncommon and he wasn’t alone in his pain. Funny how things can circle back around. Now I lay in the bed he slept in listening to this alone. “Brother, promise you won’t ever leave me.”
