Good job Pierre, nice tone and most important musical-I hope more band directors see how a timpani should be played-not like a marching tom tom-Without having any disparaging intent most band directors need to study timpani musicality much more. ps I wish they would have provided drums with fine tuner mechanisms-It sounded to me like you did not need them in your performance but lets hope the performance venue in the future provides for them for a major competition.
