The LA Theater is quite American. 😁 From a time when ornate decoration was in style. It's beautiful. There's a behind the scenes video filming Black Swan, as well as one focusing on Jimin's dance solo. The members did love the theater, for sure. Black Swan is very high on my list of favorite BTS songs. It's just a stunning work of art of a song, with something really lovely and heartbreaking to say. There's also an art film, and an orchestral version, and they did a live dance to the orchestral version on a flooded stage... Every version of it is beautiful.

Its a really beautiful theater, but it does feel like something out of the european renaissance or baroque times. We have so many buildings-churches-theaters-operas like this over here mostly built around 1600-1700 or so .. the era before that being renaissance (and a bit earlier gothic) and after that being baroque. The middle somewhat starting a mix of the two. But beautiful nevertheless.

I think it was the 1920’s/30’s that a lot of the grand movie palaces were built (this was one). There are also the atmospheric theatres that are detailed in a much different way.

Black Swan was filmed at the LA Theatre it’s from the 1930’s. I got a chance to tour it and go to all the locations the boys filmed at, very cool. Both of these songs live are something else🔥

Butter has a “Hotter remix” and a “Cooler remix” that are pretty cool as well. I think you’d enjoy the Hotter remix mv because it is so much fun, specially if you pay attention to the background.

Thank you for this reaction!! * However 9th is SUGA's birthday, so if you are willing to celebrate his birthday, it's a good idea to react to his solo, such as "Shadow" or "Daechwita". The Black Swan video was filmed at the Los Angeles Opera House.In California. This song has an overture, which the guys performed at concerts separately without a song, just a dance. The music is amazing. Many European symphony orchestras began to perform it. There is also a beautiful magical BTS clip.

The theme of, 'Black Swan', is that an artist dies twice. First when they can no longer perform and the second time when they actually die. I understand that the scene where Jin is in a mirrored room was filmed in the Ladies in that wonderful old theatre in L.A. I love that they perform this in bare feet. It showcased Jimin's style of contemporary dance.

Love your reaction to these two BTS Classics. Just love how you appreciate the bass beats and instrumentation of BTS 's music. For Black Swan, the bass beats, represented the slow heartbeat of a burnout artist, the sound comes through, in an empty stage, when the heart no longer races and time stays still. It as an interpretation of the legendary dancer Martha Graham's quote, that a dancer dies twice, once when they stop dancing and this first death is more painful. It is about an artiste's loss of will and joy in his craft, that is the first death. Jimin artistically portrayed this in the interpretive contemporary dance so well as the shadows and in the solo. The stringed Asian instrument that you mentioned is called Guzheng from China. However I think the string instrument played here is more like a Greek Guitar Bouzouki or maybe even an Electric Guitar. It is just so exquisite.

The instrument you're hearing in Black Swan is a actually a guitar BUT it is stylized to sound like guqin, a traditional instrument you were describing (they're called koto, guqin or qin depending on the country of origin) so you guessed the intention right 😊

The song and MV reflect the lyrics really well. This is from the Map of the Soul album series where they explore Jungian theories of the self. You will notice that they wear white to reflect their Persona when viewed from the audience, their public face. When they wear black they are viewed behind the scenes or from the back of the stage, and it reflects their Shadow, their inner fears. In their case they are fearing that they will lose their love for music. This is based on the quite from Martha graham that a dancer dies twice, first when they csn no longer dance and this death is more painful. BTs fear losing their passion for music niw rather than when they are much older.

Omg - BUTTER!! ....🤣🤣. As a West Indian Army Mom... (56 yrs old today) who discovered our boys in 2016. LOVE all reactions to BTS. We Welcome YOU to the "largest Family in De World" *tight hugs*. Can't lie. All of these songs you're now reacting to? Army AROUND DE WORLD BACK THEN.....(given the time line in S.Korea?)..........thousands stayed AWAKE. I did... up til 3am on my tiny Island - just to see those official Vids , drop. Back then. As an insomniac..was easy. Those were the days...😊😊. While our Boys are serving their country (as they should)....doing their due diligence? It gives the chance for even MORE (Baby Army) ....to get to know them. From Music vids...to their 'Run BTS' ( episodes where they had to 'do certain things...in order to 'earn rewards' /HILARIOUS or 'In de Soop'.(my personal fave) As they vacayed in diff Countries' (as I did the same..back then). At time's it sounds like Harp and I've heard it played on Harp however someone says there's a traditional Korean Instrument in there. So it could be just the Korean Traditional Instrument of a mix of a that and a Harp. The song itself is about the Fear of losing their Passion for their art. Eg song writing, Composing, Producing, Rapping, Singing, Dancing even going up on stage'. It was a real fear for them at one point due to being so exhausted. They over came it. Notice at the end the 'Shadow' that is a outward picture of the psychological Term 'Shadow' which is were we hind our deepest, darkest fears and thoughts. When it falls down into nothing it's while Jungkook is watching it it could represent that it's been defeated they rose about their fear of losing their passion for their art/re found it and continued on their artistic journey.

BTS's Black Swan was filmed at the Los Angeles theater in Los Angeles. It's a closed theater, and its used for a lot of filming. BTS also filmed their song ON in Los Angeles, at the Sepulveda Dam. In Black Swan, the track incorporated the traditional 12-stringed Korean instrument gayageum. I'm glad you liked it. Sorry, it wasn't a Guzhang. BTS are well known for using traditional Korean instruments, in combination with the modern beats in their music. Thank you for checking it out. Egal wie viele Reactions ich ansehe, ich scheine immer etwas dazu zu lernen oder mit Hilfe der Empfindungen der Reactors etwas zu entdecken, das mir vorher nicht aufgefallen ist. Die Art, wie du die Instumente und Background Vocals als "nah" beschreibst ist so logisch und trotzdem bin ich bisher nicht darauf gekommen. Ich mag Black Swan aus hunderten verschiedenen Gründen, einer davon der bewusste Nutzen von Autotune, um die verschiedenen Stimmfarben der BTS member einander "näher" klingen zu lassen - und gerade das wird durch die Entdeckung, auf die du mich aufmerksam machst, noch mehr unterstützt. Es ist immer wieder faszinierend, wie viele Informationen man aus einem BTS Video entnehmen kann. Nicht einmal, es hundert Mal zu sehen, reicht aus, um alle Details zu bemerken, die zum Gesamtbild beitragen. Freut mich, dass dir beide Songs gefallen haben. BTS only has like 3 or 4 songs like Butter (Boy with Luv, Permission to dance, Dynamite).. The rest of the songs and title tracks are either dark, philosophical, up beat or slow (in a good way).. So once you get through the pop bubble gum songs (the ones i mentioned earlier, i know you already watched Dynamite and now Butter) you will start getting the best of BTS and the reason most people like them (like Black Swan)
