Ballads make the vocal line really shine! I love blue moon as a winter wonderland song. I actually noticed that not many groups do The first Take. With strong singers like Miihi, Riku, Mako and Nina taking care of the difficult parts of the song and seeing all the girls sing with all their hearts is amazing. Nina, this sweet and shy girl is my bias. Her voice has something in it that pulls the strings of my heart 💖 Thank you for your reaction! I wish you a merry Christmas 🎄

The first live stage of Blue Moon was 2022.11.12 in Tokyo Dome. It's really impressive and emotional to hear this song with their beautifully clean voice. I'm looking forward to hearing the next winter color song, which may be released soon.

niziu is actually solid vocally with the vocal line Nina,Miiihi and Riku, jpop idols are rarely about skills so they don't have a lot of solid vocal skill there but it's nice to have such a well rounded group like niziu

That is true with jpop... but I guess they are different because they are with JYP. He does have a big emphasis on good voices.

"jpop rarely about skills" I have to absolutely disagree with this. JPOP is not like KPOP! JPOP is not just idols(like KPOP is), it includes rock, ballad, etc. There are a lot of skilled people in JPOP like LiSA, Kenshi Yonezu, and many more. You clearly just saw a few japanese idol groups and immediately made a stupid assumption about it's genre and their own skills ☠️☠️☠️ Like go search "JPOP" in google and you'll see it is much broader than KPOP, infact the most popular JPOP artist right now is not a Idol group but a Duo famous for their Anime OSTs, YOASOBI

as I said, just chill.... I am a large fan of the japanese rock groups there and the other musical genres... and yes I know Lisa and Yoasobi and Babymetal (from day one) and have been listening to Jay Chou for many years but if you take your average "girl pop" group then you have a difference to the kpop groups who are mostly trained better. Not all... But in the end skill does not matter at all, what matters the most is if ppl like what you do. It is cool if you have skill ... but you have to be able to touch ppl with it.

Hello, Mr. Pierre! Christmas is near, so it's BlueMoon! It's a good choice♪ This song is a fan song that sings about their feelings for WithU that they felt after experiencing their first solo arena tour last year ♪ After completing the arena tour, the Japanese women's group was the fastest 2 largest domes in Japan, Tokyo, Osaka (Kyocera) Dome for 4 days I showed it off for the first time when it was filled up. The live voice at the live was a beautiful and heartfelt singing voice, and tears flowed from the beginning. I knew it was a message song for WithU, so I'm impressed by the lyrics and singing voice. Please take a look at THE FIRST TAKE's Make you happy if you like. You can see their growth!

I really like their ballad songs. Blue Moon is great but you should also check out "Already Special" which was the b-side track coupled with their Blue Moon release. It doesn't have an MV though.

"Super Summer " (and it's great dance practice videos), 2021, "Need You" MV off of "U",2021, and "Dance the Night Away ",2020 with great shots of Mayuka. thank you so much... I actually did "Need U" a few days ago... and as for some of the official MVs - not all are on the NiziU channel.... some are on the NiziU channel and some are only on the JYP channel in the NiziU playlist.... I get mixed up here and there. And I was mostly only checking for the MVs up to now.... I just saw that Super Summer came after Chopstick on the NiziU channel... I'll have to look deeper into the list and see that I don't miss out on anything :)

@NeonReactionsPierre Found Need U,👍 Super Summer was a weird thing bcuz JYP sold it to Coca Cola for like 6 mos, so all the dance practice videos are a half year or so after the actual song release. You want to watch a version where the girls are NOT holding bottles of Coke. Dance relay was my favorite, and funniest.

NiziU are a very talented group of girls, not many groups can preform live and make it sound like a studio recording, but these girls can. With Nina, Miihi, Riku, and Mako holding down the majority of the vocals in this song, it gives me goose bumps to just listen to it. Nina has grown so much in her vocal abilities, her raw talent was great when we first meet her, now after training, ooohhhhh so good. Miihi singing a ballad, you can never go wrong with this combo, she sings ballad so well. Mako, has always been a solid vocal that you can count on. Then there is Riku who became a real strong vocalist during Nizi Project, and has just continued to improve. I also really enjoy Nina and Riku's ad libs at the end of the song, they just add so much to the song. Thought your reaction and comments were spot on. I'm continuing to enjoy your journey through the NiziU catalog of songs!!!!!

I found it interesting that the line distribution for this track really highlights what the pecking order is vocally (compared to their poppier tracks, which are a little more evenly spread out). There's such a stark contrast between who are trusted to do this type of song and who are not. Mihii, Nina, and Riku sing most of the song on their own. Mako, Maya, Rima, and Mayuka tend to be middle of the pack (Rima seems to have become the designated "face of the group who starts every song" like Nayeon). Meanwhile, Rio and Ayaka consistently appear to just not be trusted to do much singing at all, only barely getting one less demanding line each in this case (from Nizi Project, I would have assumed that Rio and Maya were in a similar level vocally, but I guess not).

I think the way JYP does it is that he lets a few members sing the same parts and then decides on who does it best and who feels the most comfortable with the lines...
