let me introduce you to the most popular idol culture in the philippines: love teams. the 3 couples who sang first in the 2015 christmas stations are debatedly the biggest love teams. a love team is basically a showbiz arranged marriage where a girl and a boy (usually actors) are paired together and as a package, they will do movies, commercials, tv series, etc. together until the love team is no more so it could be years like that. fans would ship them and would hate if they work with other people (like if they have other male/female leads other than the love team partner). this is the kpop of philippines, and why ppop is considered not really as mainstream as foreigners realize. tho it's changing now. lol in those 3 love teams in the 2015 ID, 3 are actually singers. the first guy who sang, and 3rd couple who sang. i wanna focus on the 3rd couple, the guy's name is James Reid and he owns a record label and manages artists under him. he's a really good singer-songwriter but very underrated because he is more known as an actor. i feel like you'd appreciate his talent coz you might wanna check out some of his songs. he has a lot of english songs. as his partner here, Nadine Lustre (the one you said looks like Jihyo) is also a singer, they also have a lot of songs together. she's another one who's very underrated as a singer since she's more reknown as an actress (she's called the best actress of their generation-she'd won best actress in all local and some international award giving bodies now). they are known as the Multimedia Prince and Princess of the Philippines. Nadine Lustre is part of 1st gen PPop (formerly in the group Pop Girls) and has a lot of hit ppop songs as a soloist. James Reid also has a lot of collaborations with international sings. im gonna list some of their most popular songs here. James Reid: -Randomantic (he has a live perf at Cozy Cove) -Soda (there's a wish bus) -Hello 2.0 ft. GOT7's JayB and ozi (taiwanese rapper) -Hold On Tight ft. The Rose's Woosung (James was then ft. in The Rose's song, "Yes") -Jacuzzi ft. B.I -Lie To Me ft. Destiny Rogers Nadine Lustre -Paligoy-ligoy -Paraparaan (these 2 were considered THE ppop songs of 2010) -SNSD'S Hyoyeon actually wanted to collab with her but it unfortunately didn't push through -she also released the first Visual Album in the Philippines, Wildest Dreams which has a 30+mins shortfilm under James' record label, Careless Their songs together are prolly more popular than their solo songs tho. the "holy trinity" are: -Hanap-hanap -Bahala Na -No Erase they also usually sing their movies' and series' main theme songs -On The Wings Of Love -This Time and their last collab songs were: -Summer -Conplicated Love extra: people usually comment on how BINI Colet can be their child because of her skills as a singer and how she looks similar to Nadine in some angle 😂

One of the kids name (the tallest one) is Juan Karlos "JK" Labajo. He's a popular singer-composer here in the Philippines. He's a filipino-german, but sadly his dad (a german) didn't want to meet him after abandoning them together with his mom when he was just a little boy. He found his dad socmed acc this year and messaged him, but he only seen the message and blocked JK.
