Pierre, the assembly of the "removable mount" to the "riser" (as refweered to in the instructions) should allow the fork of the rmovable mount to slide up and down on the riser on the screws. To do that, the screws should be left just loose enough to allow the mount to slideup and down. The niuts on the screws behind the riser are shown as "jam nuts" . They keep the screws tight on the riser and allow the mount and backrest to be pulled up and removed..🤔 Otherwise, great video and your patient explanations are appreciated. 👍🙂

Pierre, when I installed mine on my 2013 RT a few years ago, I connected the black seat bracket to the part that goes through the seat and connects to the bottom piece, before I connected the bottom piece to the part that goes through the seat.

Can you elaborate on how to use the plate at 5:30 to move the seat three inches forward? Thank you.

I found it helpful to first remove the 5 screws from inside the rear trunk that holds the passenger backrest, then remove the backrest. Real easy. Then remove the 2 bolts that hold the back of the seat bottom. PS, don't loose the silver bushings. Don't ask me how I know 😢

What size bolts are needed? Mine got worn out and I need to replace it as it will no longer hold a tight position the back rest keeps falling forward.
