Nice video and marvelous invention. I wished Corbin would make their seats more functional to get open, mines stay on stuck. Took it to the dealer for service and they scratched it all up, I guess they to had problems trying to open the seat. Once I do get mine open I’ll copy your magnificent technique. Thanks 😊 🇺🇸

Thanks fir the Idea... I just had that problem today needed to put that liquid gold in the tank and couldn't pop the seat.. I used a lond screwdriver to pop the latch and just unhooked the cable for now

Good idea but how do you get the seat open when the cable is broken and you don't have that little invention?

You can manage with a long screwdriver and a lot of patience.

How did you attach it ti the latch??

Sorry for the delay but Google over protected me. I just tied the wire to the latch and added a shrink tube.

Very good idea, I will do the same. Thank you for sharing. P.s. I just changed the gas strut that hold the seat up. I bought it on amazon for 25 can$, it is called “stabilus gas spring” manufactured by Sachs model number SG359011. Fits perfectly.
