Fascinant.

p.s. I also appreciate the science behind my own hypersensitivity to disturbing sounds that i cannot move away from (like cement saws close to my home) i can literally feel them changing my cellular vibration. In the same way , natural "silence" and watery sounds are so integrating and refining to the physical being in my experience. A month in the forest can heal decades of PTSD and open up portals into unused intelligences. merci!

Your brain is remarkable. How you talk about the Orcas using sound to "talk" and"see". Then you go on and explain what sound is and how sound works. You make an excellent teacher. Keep learning and lecturing and teaching people about Orcas and whatever else you're passionate about. I've learned so much about Orcas and other things too. Knowledge is power. It's lightweight, you can take it wherever you go and nobody can take it away from you. I wish all my teachers were like you. And I've been fortunate to have a few really good teachers. I'm a middle aged woman and will probably never have the opportunity to swim with Orcas. At least not in person. In my mind I can go there any time. That's what a good teacher does, help people go places and learn things they wouldn't otherwise be able to do. Have you written a book yet? If not, you should. I'd read it 😃

I found myself haunted by this video days after I watched it. It intrigues me even more about the things around us and how/why it is that way. I can't really put it into words but I do now firmly believe that everything has a purpose and reason, if we do not find that purpose or reason it simply means we are not smart or not vigilant enough. Thank you, this video was eye-opening for me. Thank you so much you have no idea how strong the impact of this video. Thank you Pierre

Wonderful teaching from you and the orcas illustrating the unavoidable precedence and importance of understanding energy, motion, sound and matter.. I'm always seeking to reattain knowledge of Natural Law and my most important classroom has always been interacting with water. I live alternately between the sea, the mountains and the desert and even meditating on the shape of arid rock and earth brings me into deep connection with my watery source and nature. So mysterious yet so essential for our understanding of ourselvesin this world and beyond. Thank you so much for this Pierre Robert!

I am working with horses in Austria, therapy riding for mentaly sick kids, too. And working with a pre and herdanimals is all about body language and energie , too. I will ask in the barns, if somebody is interested. I do believe so. This stuff is unbelievable and I really believe you are right. Maybe that's the reason (bigger picture) why Orca's didn't kill the people who captured them. They could have very easy. This sounds a little crazy, but maybe all this had to happen, so that we can see and understand more. Maybe orcas are here to teach us, if we listen and don't go to stupid marine parks. Who knows, everything is possible and it sounds logic, too.

Really, it has made me think in a whole new way about intelligence, emotion and the feelings we get of connection with something greater than us, when we have special moments in nature. It is quite obvious that we humans are lacking in emotional intelligence. Your message is so important. Thank you.

What a beautiful video. Thank you so much for sharing. I have heard of cymatics and do work with sound as a healing modality. It is very powerful. I will definitely do a presentation of your work at some point in the future in my local area. This video has really moved me as I have just posted a video myself of how certain aspects are trying to rule nature rather than live along side it. Here is an amazing example of humans trying to understand nature and live better with it. I am inspired. Thank you again. :)

Going into this video, I had no idea how profoundly different "sound" would look to me. I am mind blown, actually. One question I must ask because I wasn't quite clear... is it your suggestion that the orcas were responding directly to the aurora? As in, they could possibly be mimicking the frequencies they heard from the aurora, and then downtuing them?
@rheavine14552 жыл бұрын
So amazing to learn a little about the sounds and vibration. How would someone begin to study orca communication?
@PierreROBERTdeLATOUR2 жыл бұрын
Sjort cut to understand: dont study. Just feel.
@eschwarz10034 жыл бұрын
what is going on with Gavagi? They were supposedly studying dolphin (cetacean?) communication using AI; Their AI had already taught itself most every human language including obscure ones. They were looking for an interesting challenge and supposedly many cetaceans sounds (or at least bottle-nose dolphins), follow Zipfs Law of languages (google it) which strongly suggests a type of language is embedded in the sounds; they are based in Sweden.
@MangySquirrel3 жыл бұрын
It may have been a festival time for them. Their responses to the aurora may form a part of their spiritual or belief system - who knows they may have some basic mythology surrounding the auroras.

Pierre, do the Orcas ever try to introduce themselves to you? What I mean is, do they try to tell you their names? Maybe you could try to make your own “name” with a gentle underwater speaker to let them know you are there. They will tell each other your name and you will be known as a friend - they will come to see you and welcome you. That would be amazing.
@PierreROBERTdeLATOUR3 жыл бұрын
Yes, they do sometimes. I try... but i dont know how to do it. I didnt crack the code, so far.

I read today that project CETI is going to use AI to learn sperm whale language. I realize this is not new news - but why don’t they do this with orcas? These cetaceans are much easier to observe to give context to sounds and much more demonstrative with their body language. Maybe its just me. Glad we are finally trying to actually speak their languages. The hard part will be deciphering all the regional dialects.
@PierreROBERTdeLATOUR3 жыл бұрын
Good question, actually. I have seen this amazing project. I guess that this team is more specialized in sperm whales. They must start with something. I home that it will be the same with communication of orcas in a near future.
