I remember in the early days of 3-D when "radiosity" was a major challenge, and the holy grail of ray-tracing software. It is quite amazing to see this technique running in real-time on free software.

When I first started using blender back in fall of 2017 during the 2.7b era. I always had trouble getting my reflections done correctly for awhile. Also I am thankful for the reminder email about your course getting updated for 3.2 Pierrick. I definitely can't wait to tackle through it.

Wow, I never really bothered to look at light probes yet, but seeing that there isn't too much to it makes it look approachable. Thanks for the tutorial! Also, thanks for posting that script about automating the creation of target bones that I asked about on your rigging course; I'm not on my computer but I saw the reply in email, so thanks again! So for animation, I need to first add light probes to the still image then add the animated object, so then the light will be emitting on the animated objects

For me, the reflection from ReflectionPlane is clearly blurred. I have to change either Blend Mode to Alpha Blend or check ScreenSpaceRefraction in the material settings, but it break the effect when we increase the Rougness - instead of a nice blur texture, the background color breaks through. Also the reflection of any light sources looks very bad - a clear white sphere/square, although this disappears when you set Specular to 0 in the light settings.

Hello, in your course about rigging, the art of effective rigging, i learned a lot, but i still have a big question, i dont understan how to rigg a character that dress a chaquet or have some separet element on him, like the eyes, i saw that you add a bone for exaple to have control over the swor, but, i dont understand how to make the chaquet follow the deformation of the chest bone, is difficul to paint the weight on it, because i cant see the interior part, i hope you will help, thant for everithing, i also bought the animation course xD

Nice. Sir your Art of effective rigging course is amazing. I am working on it. There is a problem. Bone Layar Management Addon is not working properly in blender 3.2.2 version. Can you provide me any like to download an updated version of the addon and, 1. When I add Custom Properties to the bone I can not remove it from the panel when i don't want it. 2. I cannot go between two variables like 1 and 0. Because there is no property value. How can I solve these problems...🤔 Thank you.❤

Hi, the addon works fine on 3.2.2, just download the last version : fin.gumroad.com/l/STdb I don't understand your custom prop. problem. You should investigate. Please stop spamming my channel or I'll ban you.

Quick question when we add in a new object after baking the irradiance volume will the shadows be influenced just like the way it reacts to the baked lights in the scene. I'm working on an interior scene and I'm wondering if I can just bake the lighting to an empty scene (with lights); just the walls, floors and lamps. Can I fill up my space after baking light to the empty scene? Is that a good workflow?

You should try on a simple scene. MAke an empty space, bake, add a sphere and see.

It is sad that there are no probes for spherical mirrors (surfaces) in EEVEE.
