If they do that the interviewee has the right to ask the interviewer to stop interrupting. Piers starts off well enough, setting the stage as a nice guy. But he soon resorts to interrupting, baiting, gaslighting and bullying. Those are the behaviours of a manipulative narcissist. Pier's goal is to make Roger emotional and hopefully say or do embarrassing things. Pier's strategy is to keep interrupting Roger so that he can't finish his points, thereby making him more frustrated and then to seem emotional and irrational.
