What I love about Pietro is when he’s in life or death situations, he’s not selfish. When Hawkeye shocked Wanda, he kicked him away and got Wanda out if there. He suggested that Wanda stop fighting and she rest. He’s also always checking up on her, making sure she’s okay, because he can’t afford to lose her, and he cares about her that much. and in the end, he died an Avenger. He’s underrated, and it annoys me how they never mention him.

Yeah that sucks but like speedsters are always a big problem when it comes to storytelling. I really hated Whedon's take on Pietro's death as some sacrificial bullshit bc he had so much potential especially in the narrative of Civil War; he could've been against Captain America and had to fight Wanda, and that strained relationship with his twin sister could have cultivated a driving force as to why he had to reconcile with her and join the fight in Wakanda.

I’m not sure how 100% true this is, but apparently the writers thought about in Endgame Hawkeye bringing back Pietro when he tested out the time machine instead of getting a baseball glove. Then they discarded that idea thinking it wouldn’t work. But just imagine how excited everyone would have been in the theaters and also just imagine Wanda having her brother back after all she has been through 🥺

For those who dont know somehow, the reason they killed off Quicksilver so quickly is because Fox owned the rights to him. I believe there was a contract made where they could not use Pietro Maximoff after one movie. To avoid plot holes, such as people wondering where Pietro is in movies like Infinity War and Endgame, they killed him. It's easier to kill him than to say he doesn't want to participate in Endgame. I believe Fox did not own the rights to Wanda Maximoff though. They owned the rights to the Scarlet Witch but a loophole allowed them to just call her Wanda, until the Disney/Fox merge and that moment in Wandavision

It's a shame that the Avengers version of Quicksilver gets so much damn hate just because he wasn't as fast as the one in the X-Men movies. I enjoyed this version of Quicksilver a lot, and I've read that it's a little more accurate to the comic version. In the comics from what I've seen in descriptions, he can move about Mach 5. In the X-Men movies, I've seen videos stating that he's moving at more like Mach 2,339, or something like that; I know it's not that exact number. I didn't mind that he is slower than the X-Men movie version...he was a likeable character and it's sad that he died. I dunno why he gets so much hate for not being as fast as the X-Men movie Quicksilver.
