Though long since retired, I was a gunsmith trained in the old school way. I am amazed at the supurb craftsmanship that Pietta utilizes in their factory, and their acute attention to detail. Wonderful weapons and always impressive. Of the single action revolvers I own, all but one are made by Pietta. Right from the box none ever require even the slightest need for refinements to the action. All are 100% perfect. Bravo Pietta! 👍

Great report and nice to see where my Pietta 1873 is made. In any case, I am very satisfied with my 1873 model. Very true to the design of the original colt. Nice to see the people who work there. I like Pietta for sure.

Nice! How come this has not got more views??? I have several Pietta revolvers, including a majestic 3rd Model (Army) LeMat, and I am also a gunsmith who works on black powder revolvers. It is awesome to see such precision and care being put into making these masterpieces.

Impressive, your English is better than anybody I met in Italy, especially the British. I have been a shootist and range rat for 37 years. I only own Pietta Colt and Remington muzzle loading replicas now, If I had to go back to work or felt the need to get a CCW permit again whatever I bought would have compare favorably to my Piettas. That's not every handgun I've owned and been happy with over the years. Really nice work on all of mine.

Purchased my first Pietta recently and couldn’t be more satisfied, I already have my sights on the next one , unfortunately it hasn’t made it to production yet , most likely next year , I will be waiting

I just brought home a new Pietta 1873 imported by Traditions. The 5.5” barrel has a terrible rough ring around the diameter of barrel halfway down from muzzle. It will be coming back to you for replacement. I’ve saved and looked forward to purchasing it. I was terribly disappointed to see the rifling inside the barrel completely messed up by poor machining. It was test fired at the factory and I’ve never even placed a round in the cylinder. I was simply cleaning the barrel out for storage. A very piss poor product to send out a barrel in this condition.
